Imagine this: You're in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan. It's game day. The atmosphere is electric. As you dodge the crowds and make your way to Michigan Stadium, you realize: You forgot to plan your transportation. Don't be that person, plan ahead. Here are 3 transportation options: 1. The Bus: The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (AAATA) has game day shuttle services round-trip but lines are often long and you could miss kick off. 2. The Local Taxi: Just mention "Fare Ride or Ann Arbor Taxi" to hotel staff and they'll know who to call. Their drivers all know the best routes. 3. The Walk: It'll only take you about 30-40 minutes to walk from downtown Ann Arbor to Michigan Stadium. Plus, you'll get fresh air and exercise. Plan ahead before game day so you can focus on cheering on the Wolverines to victory. Go Blue!

The University of Montana Western Rodeo Team hosted its 54th Annual Montana Western Rodeo Banquet last month. The rodeo banquet is the primary fundraising event for student scholarships, facilitating essential practice opportunities, offsetting travel expenses, covering hotel accommodations, and supporting the Montana Western College rodeo in the fall. This year at the event, UMW Rodeo paid tribute to the enduring legacy of Benny and Rooster Reynolds, two of Dillon's most iconic rodeo heroes. Their significant impact has played a crucial role in shaping Dillon's rich rodeo heritage. Watch the full Rodeo Legends: Benny and Rooster Reynolds film here:

As hard as it may be to believe ☔, summer HAS in fact arrived, and with it a sharp increase in vehicle traffic as many of us embark on a journey to sunnier climes. This puts extra pressure on English Channel routes which are already busy with HGVs and other goods traffic, including Scottish seafood bound for Europe. Because of this, Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom/Highways England is launching a contraflow system designed to keep traffic on the M20 and other roads in Kent moving when there is disruption to travel via Dover or Eurotunnel. Named Operation BROCK, HGVs travelling to the Port of Dover or Eurotunnel must use signed routes only. BROCK will run from 10-31 July and will then be reviewed weekly during August. Realistically the expectation is that the system will be in place for 7-8 weeks. Find out more: https://bit.ly/4eMSF1q

Marxist math: Wrong + Wrong = Right. Make no mistake, this is indeed Marxism re-worded. Unlike its previous edition, this slightly revised politics of resentment isn't conjured by underscoring capital ownership, it is created by race-tagging land ownership. What makes it a xerox copy of its predecessor is that it again instigates the have-nots against the haves. This is a cheap and dangerous trick that rips societies apart. By hypnotizing the materially unfortunate with victim hood, it vitiates them and renders them ineffective towards self development. By labeling property as theft it creates a culture of disrespect for private property (to what degree was internalization of this kind of language responsible for the recently revealed bout of kleptomania in a certain leftist member of NZ Parliament? To what extend is the broader property crime wave in New Zealand a consequence of this type of rhetoric?)

William Phelps Eno, often referred to as the "Father of Traffic Safety," was an American businessman and innovator who played a pivotal role in the development of early road safety and traffic control measures. Despite never learning to drive a car himself, Eno's contributions have had a lasting impact on the way we navigate our streets and cities. Here are some highlights of his life and work: - Born: June 3, 1858, in New York City. - Education: Attended Hopkins Grammar School, Williston Academy, and graduated from Yale University in 1882. - Innovations: Credited with creating the stop sign, pedestrian crosswalk, traffic circle, one-way street, taxi stand, and pedestrian safety islands. - Traffic Plans: Developed the first traffic plans for major cities like New York, London, and Paris. His rotary traffic plan was implemented at Columbus Circle in New York City in 1905, at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris in 1907, and at Piccadilly Circus in London in 1926. - Publications: Wrote the first-ever manual of police traffic regulations and authored "Rules of the Road" in 1903. - Legacy: Founded the Eno Transportation Foundation in 1921 to promote improvements in transportation and traffic management. Eno passed away on December 3, 1945, in Norwalk, Connecticut, but his legacy continues to influence modern transportation and traffic systems around the world. #inspirationalquote #motivationalquote #wisdomquotes #lifelesson
