Training for Almaty International Airport Staff 🛫 On September 4-5, 2024, the Independent Living Center "DOS" organized an essential training program aimed at enhancing the professional skills of our staff in serving passengers with limited mobility. The course, "Maintaining the Professional Level of Employees in Serving Passengers with Reduced Mobility," covered three key areas: 1. Modern Understanding of Disability – Shifting perspectives on inclusivity and accessibility. 2. Seminar on Culture and Ethics – Focused on proper communication and respectful interaction with people with disabilities. 3. Practical Training – Hands-on guidance for air transport employees on how to assist wheelchair users and other passengers with disabilities, both in theory and practice. This training is part of our commitment to ensuring a more inclusive and accessible experience for all passengers at Almaty International Airport.
