Our flagship project, Urava, involves working with kids by setting up camps over the summer. Urava was launched in April of 2022. In August, we started a new batch of urava with 11 kids from the Erumanathoor community. The initial Aruvi phase lasted for three days, and the initial batch joined the next batch. The camp's main focuses were establishing bonds with the kids and breaking the ice through games. Friends from Sustera Amjad, Agnus, Kavya, Shyam, Ambareesh, Adish, Basil, Anjana, Akhila, Ardra, and Nihal joined our team on the second day of camp, making it extra special. They helped us plan the activities. The major activity they planned was creating artwork with leaf impressions and having a conversation about reproductive organs and menstrual hygiene. The session was led by Kavya, who was an expert on discussing menstrual hygiene. Adish organized a treasure hunt that required a lot of observational talent as the day's finale. Swimming was used to cap off the camp's final day.
