But here's the urgent part—we need two more volunteer coaches to make this program a reality! Without these crucial roles filled, we won’t be able to run the program. Girls on the Run is more than just a running program; it's a 12-week adventure where girls build life skills, make new friends, and learn to manage emotions—all while having a blast and preparing for a 5K finish line celebration! WASO has been the Provincial Hub for @mentorabilitymb since its inception in 2019. MentorAbility is a program striving to help adults experiencing disabilities find meaningful jobs in the workplace through mentorship. MentorAbility is a nation-wide program with province-specific hubs (including our Manitoba one!). The aim of this program is to bring employers and service providers alongside adults with disabilities to show them different industries and mentor them as they join the workforce.
