He runs programs for people with disabilities who are a part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. He has been in the disability field for over ten years, some of his work in this field has been advocating for employment, advocating for disability rights, creating sexual health curriculum for people with disabilities, and their natural and professional supports, and direct individual support. Benjamin Bruce is a lifelong disability activist, committed to continuous learning and unlearning. Élections Canada | Elections Canada offers many ways people with disabilities can improve their voting experience in federal elections. This includes ballot marking assistance, ASL interpreters, braille materials, hospital bedside voting, and vote from home options (just to name a few!). I would love to tell you all about it with my upcoming workshop with the Alberta Employment First Network on Sept 17th.
