To ride the wave is a thing in marketing. To recognize something that will be (or already is) the epicentre of communication on the market, and to have your two cents there. If you are not fully irrelevant to the topic and you don't have "authority" to speak about it at all, and if you go out with something that is you, it can bring you a lot of good things. If you slightly miss a thing, you can still get some free visibility and it does not come with a high cost or big risk. Or you can do some dumb thing just because you smelled the opportunity. So, should you try to catch the wave, or you should keep yourself away to avoid being sunk? You should be steady, zero doubts, but you should be ready to let it go at the same time. You should be sharp, quick in reading signs, quick in evaluating, quick in starting internal discussions, and able to make a decision in a tight time span. For those involved in event organization, the recent webinar hosted by Cristina Gilardi and Pietro Merlini on Wednesday, 28th February provided valuable insights. The webinar served as a catalyst for the Camera di Commercio Milano Monza Brianza Lodi community to embrace a sustainable approach that encompasses #environmental, #social, and #economic considerations to minimize impact. For those who missed the webinar, here are key recommendations for ongoing enhancement 👇🏻 In the event of non-compliance, the organization should: a) Identify the non-compliance. b) Respond promptly to the non-compliance. c) Assess the necessity of actions to address the root causes of non-compliance. d) Execute all required corrective measures. e) Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions. f) Modify the sustainable event management system as needed. g) Propose preventive measures. h) Ensure suppliers contribute to compliance evaluation and resolution. From the latest news, it's evident that over the past year, women are introducing diverse and innovative approaches to the traditionally male-dominated alcohol industry. The 'Women Leading Rum, Europe Conference,' scheduled for the 26th of April in Madrid, is a prime example, coinciding with The Rum Lab’s Spain Rum & Gin Expo. Larissa Arjona, president of Women Leading Rum, will lead the conference, which will also feature The Ultimate Awards to honor visionary women who have made a substantial impact on the rum industry with their innovation and strategic insights. The conference will host three principal forums. This week, Hart President, Marc Paulenich, and VP of Brand Leadership, Brian Newberry, joined spirits industry leaders, decision-makers and supply chain partners at the DISCUS Annual Conference & WOTVS Global CONNECT! event. It was an incredible opportunity to dive into some of the mission-critical policies concerning the industry, connect with various industry executives and gain important insights from thought leaders in the spirits space. As anyone in the spirits industry knows, there have been tremendous changes taking place over the past few years.
