Todays session with Coach Ganier, we touch on the importance of having a solid and professional intro and outro for our virtual meetings. Intro & Outro Best Practices for virtual meetings… Intro - Set an agenda - Introdctuons are required from everyone (who they are, what’s important, what do they want to get out of the convo) - Recap on the purpose of the call (this doesn’t necessarily need to be long, but a solid outline of your client’s priorities) - Discover, demo or decision time - Confirm next steps Outro - Gain feedback (Pros & cons of the convo) - Ask if they need any additional information to help support their decision. - Confirm next steps (always get something on the calendar) Practice, make it your own, and make the magic happen!

Meetings must be reserved for the most important discussion points. Whatever else needs to be done to make meetings more fruitful should be done before the meeting through other media like emails/messages/virtual calls. I have observed that organizations waste unimaginable manhours in unnecessary meetings. Only if organizations work on some clear structuring of meetings, will meetings be successful leading to organizations achieving their objectives. How are you doing your meetings?
