The Texas Bar is doing it right. To get admitted you take the same test most states offer, then you take a special course on practicing in Texas. In law school, we all learn federal court procedures but we don't learn our own state's procedures. In the Texas Law Course you learn how to efile, Texas civil procedure, and other Texas-specific info. The only way this could be better is if I could change the play-back speed.
