The importance of Versatility and Adaptability in Motorsports 🚀 Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to work at the Ducati Riding Experience (DRE), a premier event where impeccable organization is key to delivering an unparalleled experience and comfort for our clients. Throughout this experience, I reinforced my understanding of the importance of staying calm while juggling multiple tasks in a high-paced environment. The days were long⏰, the heat on the track was intense🥵, but adaptability was crucial to ensure everything ran smoothly. Key Takeaways: 🧘🏼♀️Staying Calm Under Pressure Managing multiple aspects of the event simultaneously, I realized the significance of maintaining composure and a clear mind. This skill is essential in the fast-paced world of motorsports. 💃🏼Adaptability The scorching heat and long hours on the circuit taught me the value of being adaptable! Adjusting to changing conditions and unexpected challenges was vital to keeping the event on track. 👯Teamwork and Collaboration Working closely with a dedicated team, I saw how collaboration and clear communication can overcome any obstacle. Each team member’s role was crucial in creating a seamless experience for our clients. 🫱🏻🫲🏼Client-Centric Approach Understanding the importance of client satisfaction, every detail was meticulously planned to ensure an unforgettable experience. Seeing clients' joy and satisfaction was incredibly rewarding. 📚Behind-the-Scenes Insights Being part of the organizational side provided me with a deeper appreciation for the complexity and effort involved in executing a high-caliber marketing event. The experience was invaluable for my professional growth. Participating in the DRE was not just a job; it was a journey of learning and growth! See you in September! #Motorsport #EventManagement #Ducati #DRE #Teamwork #ClientExperience #ProfessionalGrowth #MarketingExperience #DigitalCommunication

The worst thing ever. This is why: At the last race event, we were working onsite at the race circuit, delivering our best services to teams and promoter. “Some events logistics you guys already know.” ➡️ R&C Sports Events Logistics. For the first time ever, I spent some time in the spectator area instead of staying in the paddock as usual. (As the boss, I can take such privileges while the rest of the team puts in the hard hours. I told them I needed to make some phone calls, put on my headphones, and they agreed with a nod, I think at that point all of them knew already what I did, as normally they read my LinkedIn stuff😬. So they know I like to play the boss role just to impress others😒)🙏 However, it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Sitting there watching the cars pass by the next 2 corners, I felt like I was missing out on the full race experience. I even thought, “Where is my money? Give me my money back,” before realizing that I get paid to be there🤦♂️. Knowing all the behind-the-scenes action in the paddock, being inside the team garages, pit lane, and starting grid for all my years in motorsport, made me feel bad for the people who can only see the race from the stands. When you are inside, you get a lot of feedback and experiences that, as a motorsport fan, you must experience. What do you all think about it? If you are looking for good blow minds logistics in the circuit or any other event, Just reach out. If I’m not too busy faking around looking like I’m the boss, I will reply to you in 0,59sec. This my best replying time.🤯 ✅DM ✅+34 659991764 ✅rcastells(a)rceventslogistics.com ✅www.eventslogistics.com #liketheboss #logisticsguru #lowprofile #motorsport #racing #automtotive #events #logistics

❓ “Will it make the boat go faster?” ❓ and why keeping things simple can make you achieve more. I have been purposefully working on “focus” since the beginning of this year and how doing less can lead you to achieve more. And yesterday, when I had the chance to step away from the office and attend a GenAI sales event (BTW, thanks LinkedIn for Business for the invitation), I heard this phrase that really brought it home. If you haven’t heard of this phrase before, in 1998 after losing the Rowing World Championship, Ben Hunt-Davis and the rest of the GB rowing team realised that if they carried on doing what they were doing, they would keep ending in 7th place. Instead, they changed how they approached rowing and just asked themselves a simple question – which steered the decisions they made. “Will it make the boat go faster” ultimately helped them land a gold medal at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. In a time when no one seems to have time, when we are multitasking or going from one meeting to another without a break, when we think that AI can actually solve all of our work problems, when we are snowed under internal reporting or internal committees, we need to remember that being busy doesn’t make the boat go faster, that working late doesn’t make the boat go faster, that having a long list of to dos doesn’t make the boat go faster. Keeping it simple gives us clarity and direction. Get rid of all the distractions and be the leader that challenges and asks… “Will it make the boat go faster”?

Presenter/Speaker/Host/Trainer Ex-ESPN Star Sports and Premier League | Singapore 🇸🇬 citizen | With a lifetime of learnings from sport's biggest names to empower your event or team. Let's work together!
If you want to get the most out of a commercial partnership, sometimes it’s about going to great lengths. Or heights. Ahead of this weekend’s Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix I was privileged to conduct the most elevated outdoor interview of my career. It look place some 56 floors and 191 metres above sea level in one of the world’s most iconic settings. As part of the partnership between Marina Bay Sands and Scuderia Ferrari, Team Principal Frederic Vasseur and drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz swung by the SkyPark observation deck for a photo session with fans and an on-stage interview session. These Q & A sessions can sometimes be somewhat “safe” and predictable, but it was great to see (and hear) the guys laugh, joke, give genuine insights into their race preparation. It was clear that even though they regularly attend events in the world’s most exotic locations, from Monaco to Las Vegas, this one felt a bit special. And they duly rose to the occasion, as it were. And why wouldn’t they? Commercial partnerships are vital to elite level sport, and savvy brands know that nothing hits quite as hard as sport when it comes to messaging and positive association. So, get the event or engagement right, and it’s a win for both parties, even before the red lights go out and the racing begins on the Marina Bay Circuit. If you would like me to collaborate with you in elevating your brand collaboration, feel free to reach out. You know I’ll go to pretty much any lengths — or heights — to make an event special. #events #eventhosting #commercialpartnerships #sportssponsorship #brandcollaboration

Helping motorsport founders tell their story clearly or just say CEO Whisperer - Building a ghostwriting agency 👻
MSC Cruises will be flooding F1's fans' feeds until 2026. (The pun was an accident) This partnership has been running since 2022. I swear I recently started seeing it. First, some context. 2024 MSC Cruises will feature in two Formula 1 Grand Prix races. → The "MSC Cruises Japanese Grand Prix" → “Formula 1 MSC Cruises Gran Premio dell’Emilia Romagna” (Imola) MSC Cruises' integrates into the race titles and track branding running through the end of the 2026 season. Now that you have the context. Let me ask a genuine question. How many fans are booking cruises because of the partnership? Am I getting anything extra because I am an F1 fan? These are such first-world problem questions; my sister laughs at my minor problems. But hear me out before you tune off. Now, the fan who gets hospitality tickets might consider it. They have the income. But the average fan in the grandstands is highly unlikely. Or I don't get the cruise fascination and am terrified of the open sea. Perhaps I am off here. But even beyond the naming and licensing rights. I don't see how any income fan gets value beyond the "Buy this cruise package from us." This partnership highlights how sponsors are engaging with fans. I understand they bring in money but beyond the email every few days. I would love to see how these partnerships can benefit fans. There’s hardly anything as powerful as fans with emotional loyalty. An average partnerships speaks highly of the sponsor. A great partnerships speaks to the high audience. Through one launch post, I launched my guide on “How to Work in Motorsport” with this audience. In the first month, we're at 170 email sign-ups with 1105 delivered emails, with an average 72% open rate. If you want to build your brands Educational Email Course (EEC) or newsletters without spending hours and hours on sales call. I am a message away. #sportsbiz #linkedinsports #fans #motorsports #formula1 #marketing

This month marks 20 years of my journey in the motorsport industry. Here’s what I’ve learned along the way: ➡ Face-to-Face Meetings are Essential**: Even today, personal meetings in the motorsport industry are a must. Emails alone can’t build trust. Being present and putting a face to the name is invaluable. ➡ Boots on the Ground**: 90% of my business deals happened because I showed up. Being present, demonstrating expertise, and delivering results go a long way. ➡ Building Relationships**: Regular interaction and being present when needs arise are key to creating lasting relationships. ➡ Magic of the Race Circuit**: Business is done differently at the race circuit. It has a unique atmosphere that we all love. ➡ Passion Over Job**: If your presence at events stems from passion rather than just a job, you have a great advantage. And what about inviting your clients for a race weekend after all those years of trust in you? This is just magic.... By being present, you convey many things, but the most important are: You know how to navigate the paddock and organize your personal logistics. - You can handle security and access requirements. - You manage your travel logistics effectively. - You understand race schedules. - You know when and how to interact with teams during their busy times on weekends. - You speak the language of the industry, with English being a must. - You present yourself as an expert when you speak. All of this gives you a fair advantage. It may sound ridiculous to those already working in any race championship, but trust me, some people are even scared to travel alone or can’t differentiate between the pit lane and the paddock. So, how can you trust someone who has never been there, doesn’t know how to rent a car, or can’t handle unexpected situations like arriving at a rental car office with no cars available and needing to be at the race track in an hour? If we’ve managed to "survive" and thrive at circuits around the globe for all these years while keeping clients happy, we can certainly take care of your goods at your next event or within your company. We’ve just updated our website. Take a look and let us know your thoughts and comments. Do you like it? Still on draft. If the feedback is positive, we will keep it 😬. We read you on the comments 😉 #motorsport #automotive #motogp #f1 #fe #wrc #wec #gt #logistics #sail #dakar #events #eventslogistics #motorsportlogistics #automotivelogistics

I received this request today. "Hey Carlos, is there a synergy my company can do with local people in Mexico?" I responded: I am glad you are exploring new ideas to expand your products internationally. My hobbie is Motorsports. I organize local racing events every weekend and every weekend is a success. Based on it, one thing I can suggest is joining 12 marketing events, at least, one per month. Investing only $2,500 usdls for the 12 months (Two thousand five hundred dollars). Your products should be on a nice tent, having two pretty girls/boys showing your products. I personally asist to 55 events per year. Mexican Style Motorsports mass events is an excellent strategy. The products you manufacture, should be shown here. I manufacture unique custom made sports jackets, only 1 per style and theybstand out. Your products can stand out at these events too. I believe, as leaders in the Mexican market and part of the Real Mexican Racing League, you can expand to Mexico and other countries using this option. It is cheap and reaches millions. I have the opportunity to introduce your products to new markets with a solid base of reliable Motorsports entusiasts. The events I assist are neutral business spaces. The values we promote are ethical, family is first and respect. These events are a catalyst for innovation and economic growth, inspiring individuals globally while promoting collaboration and safety. We shape every sunday a dynamic industry with far-reaching benefits for society. The perfect place to showcase and sell your products. We can offer a unique experience to your customers by providing them with the direct contact info of your high-quality products. Under the seal of our Mexican brand. I'm confident that we can generate interest in your products at international mass events and in new markets, leveraging our experience and the quality of your products. Together, we can take your brand to a new level of global recognition every weekend.

During one of my daily learning journeys, I came across interesting content on MTBpro y Maillot Mag, one of my reliable sources. https://shorturl.at/juwU7 Industry Nine Componentry, the great American wheels-and-more brand, just let us know about the launch of their European branch. Formerly, Industry Nine Componentry was distributed in Spain by Surbikes. As of now, Nathan Deibert and Isaac Reina, two of the more brilliant and entrepreneurial minds in the Spanish cycling distribution panorama, joined Industry Nine Componentry for the brand to become an independent entity representing their stunning products all over Europe. Thus, the brand will cover the whole continent providing shorter delivery times, and top-tier service for any purchasing profile: distributors, dealers, or end users. The so-vaunted landing of a brand assuming a local distribution instead of its former distributor could mean a huge leap above and beyond aiming for its consolidation. This is the case now with Industry Nine Componentry in Europe. Hitting the market on your own brings great benefits for the brand perception, its establishment, and, yes, for sales as well. In short: first, if you already have a trustworthy partner in a certain market, do not toss this liaison away. On the other hand, bring them home, and embrace them. Secondly, it is compulsory to set a proper and well-executed communication plan through which you can send a reliable message to the market instead of an alarm sign. To make this happen, Industry Nine Componentry posted on their website a banner that leads you to a microsite with a clear message including a video, because seeing is believing. Perfect. I wish Industry Nine Componentry and its European team a well-deserved success in their endeavor wonderfully located in the stunning Jerez de la Frontera, a must-visit. https://shorturl.at/hCR69
