It’s disheartening to see that formal nutrition education is still lacking in many medical schools. Despite the critical role nutrition plays in overall health, future healthcare professionals are often left without the necessary knowledge to guide their patients effectively. More and more experts agree that proper nutrition is fundamental to preventing and managing chronic diseases, supporting recovery from injury and illness, and promoting overall well-being. As we strive for healthier society, it’s imperative that our doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers are equipped with the skills to offer sound dietary advice.Incorporating comprehensive nutrition education into medical curricula is essential.
