Did you know that six of our hospitals have produce gardens that help feed patients who are lacking access to healthy foods? Saint Vincent, Jefferson, Allegheny Valley, Allegheny General, Forbes and West Penn Hospitals each grow hundreds of pounds of fresh produce every year that is then taken to their hospital’s Healthy Food Center where it's available for patients in need. This is just another way we’re helping to meet people where they are and provide them with the support and resources they need.
