Today we announce an equity financing of up to £5.5 million including a conditional cornerstone investment by Central Asia Metals PLC (CAML). The funding is to invest in mineral exploration in North East Scotland for the metallic raw materials critical to a just transition in Scotland and the UK. The financing comprises: - A conditional cornerstone investment by CAML of £3 million at 8.5 pence per share to acquire a 28.7% shareholding in Aberdeen Minerals - Warrants to be granted to CAML to invest an additional £2 million at 11 pence per share, which, if exercised, would take CAML ownership to 37.8% - An Entitlement Offer to existing shareholders to raise up to an additional £0.5 million at 8.5 pence per share. Tempest Minerals Ltd (ASX:TEM) has taken proceeds from a non-renounceable pro-rata entitlement offer to $830,602 after completing the placement of a shortfall. The rights issue was made on the basis of one new share for every five fully paid ordinary shares held at an issue price of $0.008 per new share. There have been 79,573,471 shares issued in the shortfall raising a further $636,587 and boosting total funds raised from the rights issue to $830,602. Under the terms of the offer, the company's directors allocated the shortfall at their discretion to various parties who previously expressed potential interest in taking up the shortfall. Interesting discussion this morning by the panel comprised of Sara Mainville, Niilo Edwards, Dave Forestell, and Julian Owens on ‘Navigating to make big projects happen: Critical minerals in Canada’. The session focused on the intricacies of regulation, funding, permitting, and First Nations partnerships within the realm of critical mineral exploration and development.
