Sales is the greatest job in the world... Why? It’s because sales is not just a job; it’s a journey of growth, learning, and connecting with people. It’s about solving problems, helping, and creating value for clients. Also, it is like running your own business; it can make you a lot of money! However, not all people are successful in sales because it demands resilience, adaptability, and, most importantly, persistence. It’s a field where only the committed truly thrive. I have been in sales for the past 10 years, and even though I am only getting started, sales has taught me a thing or two about resilience and made me a very confident person. It is safe to say that I Love Sales! Here is to many more years doing what I love at Talentek by Hubtek #SalesJourney #CareerGrowth #SalesLessons #Resilience

Be kind to sales. Sales professionals work hard to connect with potential clients and build relationships. Even if there's no immediate opportunity to do business with them, remember that you might be an opportunity for their growth. Kindness costs nothing but means everything. Choose to be kind. Don't be mean. #Sales #BeKind #SalesProfessionals #Opportunity #Networking #KindnessMatters #ProfessionalGrowth #PositiveImpact #RelationshipBuilding

Let's talk about one of the most hated job role /job profile- SALES! "Sales nahi karna" People reading this post have heard this line from others or in some cases have said this themselves. It gets more interesting when people say that after a few years of work ex they want to join their family business :) AND, they DON'T WANT TO DO SALES! Bhai, at every point you're selling- especially if you want to be an entrepreneur- 1. you'll have to sell idea to your co-founder 2. sell it to your parents and family to convince them (if you're a first gen entrepreneur) 3. sell to investors 4. sell to first customers 5.To those applying for jobs, selling yourself :) Bro, agar SALES NAHI KAR SAKTA... TOH NAUKRI KAISE MILEGI? BUSINESS/DHANDHA KAISE CHALAYEGA? "Galle" par baithna asaan hai- usey grow karne ke liye... "Sales karna padega" 😀

Are you a “go-getter” salesperson? A “go-getter” #salesperson always looks for new #opportunities, takes #initiative to get results and doesn’t wait for them to fall on their lap. However, is it enough to just be a go-getter to have #ongoingsuccess? Salespersons with a “go-getter” #personality might sometimes do some #manipulation along the way to get what they want without paying enough attention to their #clients and their needs. Succeeding at any cost might be detrimental to a salesperson’s long-term #growth. A “go-getter” salesperson who also gives when needed and tries to add value to customer and alleviate their pain has the “go-giver” personality as well. Finding a good balance between the “go-getter” and “go-giver” personalities not only allows a salesperson to always seek new opportunities but also think of their clients and how they can help them by offering the right solution to match their needs. #gogetter #gogiver #smarts3ller #sales

Sales Training, Mentoring, & Leadership | Sales Centre of Excellence | Empowering Sales Teams to Deliver Differentiating Value
Upon my promotion to sales manager, I swiftly realized that my sales team are now my customers. Let me explain. During my interview to be promoted as a sales manager, my divisional manager asked me: “You have excelled in persuading your clients to work with you over the last few years. Once you are promoted, how do you persuade your sales team to do the same?” Did you know that there are many versions of Lou rou fen (pork rice) depending on which Taiwan cities you are in?

I was a kid when I had to put my first sales team together for my job before truLOCAL. I was 22 doing interviews out of a coffee shop, I didn’t even have an office. I was trying to convince 35-year-old sales vets that they should come sell meat door-to-door with me lol. You learn a lot when you get thrown into the fire that way. The hardest part was managing different age groups when you yourself are still just a kid. When I was managing other people my age, I struggled a lot with 2 things… 1. Being their friend vs being their boss. 2. Egos. Especially with other young guys. When I was managing people older than me what I struggled with was 1. Earning respect I made a lot of mistakes on all of the above, but luckily all those mistakes taught me some key lessons before starting truLOCAL. I think the most counterintuitive one was learning that everybody needed to be treated differently. I see so many people talking about how you need to treat everybody the same, that’s the fair way to do it. But that never resonated with me. That’s not how you run a sports team? Not everybody gets equal field time just because they’re on the team. What happens when you treat everyone the same is you falsely prop up people who are struggling and need to develop, while never giving proper praise to your high performers.

Me: "Yes, that's nice." Nala: "You know, Baba, I wish you did something..." Me: Silence "Hmm... What do you mean?" Nala: "Well, Mama ( Claire Kanj )does marshmallows and sweeties. What do you do?" Me: "I also work..." Nala: "What do you do?" Me: "I'm part of the leadership team doing IT sales." Nala: "What do you do?" Me: "Sales." Nala: "I wish you did something..." Help needed; how have you explained the IT Sales career?
