There's an old saying that people stuck in their ways like to use... "I know what I like and I like what I know." That's an appropriate stance to have on your go-to order at your favorite restaurant. But keeping that mindset in sales development? It won't get you very far. You must be ready and willing to adapt to new technologies. #Alleyoop #TheUltimateAssist

More often than not, we're the makers of our own misery. Having a "what if it works out" mindset, like Holly can truly change your life... If you let it. So say yes to something today! See how it goes! #Alleyoop #TheUltimateAssist

I’m an opportunist, not a victim. Because of that, I’ve been successful. I’ve traveled the world. I’ve sold to major brands. I’ve done and seen amazing things. All because I ask: What if this works out? Instead of… Why doesn’t anything work out for me? Every opportunity that comes my way, I entertain. Because I know where I want to go. I know what I want to achieve. I’m willing to work to get it. The worst thing I can do for myself and those around me is to play the victim. Life has been incredibly good to me because I say yes to opportunities. #SayYesToOpportunities #SuccessMindset

I don’t think I’d return to selling full-time now that I’m in operations. The truth is, I was an operator disguised as a sales rep. I would figure out a process and system to increase my chances of success. Then, when I found out what worked, I’d do everything I could to follow the process. You want sales to be predictable, not unpredictable. Which is boring. Boring is good in sales. In operations, almost everything is unpredictable. Which is exciting. There’s always a process that’s broken that needs to be fixed. There are always people who have questions that need answers. There’s always something going on that you couldn’t have planned for. That right there is why I wouldn’t go back to sales. I love sales. I’m involved with it as often as I can be. But the excitement of operations is what I live for in my role.

Creativity is key. It doesn't matter if you don't think your in a "creative" industry or selling a "creative" product. Being creative and thinking outside the box is vital to success in sales. We want to challenge you to look at the regular problems in your life today. Simple things like running out of milk for your coffee or missing you bus.... And come up with some creative solutions to those problems. Even if they're not practice solutions. Get creative. And watch how it impacts your creativity at work. #Alleyoop #TheUltimateAssist #Creativity
