What’s it like working at Alliance? Well it’s different to one of the big corporates. To begin with, you are not treated as a resource to be squeezed. It's a less formal work setting where people are encouraged to speak their mind freely and have a laugh. It’s more relaxed and friendly. In fact we often find people start working together at Alliance and then choose to hang out together outside of work. But the best evidence we have that our team like working at Alliance is that they keep coming back. That’s right, we’ve had people leave, naturally, but they often come back – choosing a better work/life balance and stating how much they have missed Alliance’s relaxed and supportive culture. The Power of Workplace Friendship and Bonding Since it’s the month of love, I wanted to highlight the immense value of workplace friendships and bonding. As an HR professional, I am deliberate about cultivating strong interpersonal bonds at work. Why? Because meaningful connections among team members offer tremendous benefits. Strong bonds build trust, which enables more open communication and efficient collaboration. Friendships make work enjoyable and boost morale. Colleagues feel motivated and engaged when they have positive relationships.
