How time flies...without realizing it, Oct 2024 is my 1st Year Anniversary. Celebrating my milestone at Allianz Technology Malaysia 🎊🎉 Still remember the feeling of me pushing myself to embrace new challenges ... Stepping out from my comfort zone to take on new challenges brings a mix of emotions. Sense of fear due to the unfamiliar environment, having to work with new and different stakeholders, unfamiliar processes. Sometimes or maybe most of the time 😊 create anxiety or self-doubt in me. At the same time, stepping into new challenges can bring excitement and a rush of adrenaline....this feeling I feel all the time until now...haha. It opens up the possibility for growth, learning, and self-discovery. We've been through ups and downs, tears and sweats...swim the ocean and went through rough sea 🌊 together .... Team work, collaboration and support especially mentally that makes us stronger. 🎖Today marks my 2-year anniversary at Lufthansa Technik Philippines, and it's a moment to reflect on the journey and the valuable lessons learned. Here's what I've discovered: 1. Not everyone will support your growth, and that's okay. Toxicity exists in every workplace, but maintaining professionalism and integrity will always be your best armor against negativity. 3. Opportunities often present themselves when least expected. Stay patient and trust in the timing of life. What is meant for you will find its way to you, so keep your eyes open and your mind receptive. Sometimes, missed opportunities turn out to be blessings in disguise. If something hasn't been given to you, trust that it wasn't meant for you, and something better is on its way. 4. Growth requires courage and resilience. Push yourself beyond your comfort zone, and trust that clarity will come with perseverance and determination. 5. Finally, remember not to take everything personally. Establishing professional boundaries while remaining true to yourself fosters respect and fairness in your relationships. While you may not be friends with everyone, being authentic and respectful will earn you the trust and respect of your colleagues. The years and experiences you've accumulated are your armor for the future. Each challenge and lesson has prepared you for what lies ahead. Everything becomes easier with time and practice. Elia Grid International (EGI) is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. Over these ten years, solid, cross-disciplinary expertise has been developed to support actors in the Power System sector, whether private companies or public entities such as TSOs and regulators, in their energy transition and/or Power System development. This expertise covers all aspects of these complex systems, including regulatory and market issues, asset management, power system development and operation studies, as well as engineering and project management for large-scale infrastructures. EGI's presence in Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and, more recently, North America, has also strengthened its understanding of the specific characteristics and challenges faced by Power System actors around the world. This is just the beginning of a long journey, given the many challenges and uncertainties that will need to be addressed in the transition to a more sustainable future where Power Systems role is significant. EGI will continue to support the various players in the Power System sector in this energy transition.

This year, PETRONAS is celebrating its 50th anniversary. That is a huge milestone for the company and for me personally. I joined PETRONAS in 2001, when I was only 22 years old. Now I am forty-five, and I have spent more than half of my life working here. It has been a journey full of ups and downs, challenges and opportunities, learning and growth. Looking back, I can say that my experience in PETRONAS has been rewarding and fulfilling. I have had the chance to work in different areas, from business planning to pricing, from risk management to human resource, from project management and now to talent management. I have learned new skills, gained new knowledge, and expanded my horizons. I have also met many people who have influenced me in different ways. Some were mentors, some were peers, some were subordinates. Some were supportive, some were critical, some were inspiring, some were frustrating. But they all taught me something valuable, either by example or by contrast. I have learned to appreciate diversity, to respect different opinions, to collaborate with others, and to communicate effectively. Of course, not everything was smooth sailing. I have also faced many difficulties and setbacks in my career. I have had to deal with tight deadlines, changing priorities, complex problems, and uncertain outcomes. I have had to cope with stress, pressure, and sometimes disappointment. I have had to adapt to different leadership styles, from bosses who directed me, to bosses who listened to me, to bosses who supported me, to bosses who did not. I have learned to be flexible, to be resilient, to be proactive, and to be accountable. Now I find myself in a position where I can apply what I have learned and what I have experience and try to create a positive environment for my team. Now, as PETRONAS turns fifty, I realize that the challenges we are facing are greater than ever before. We are living in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world, where the energy industry is undergoing a major transformation. We have to deal with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the climate change crisis, the digital disruption, and the changing customer expectations. We must balance the needs of the present and the future, the interests of the stakeholders and the society, the demands of the business and the environment. We have to innovate, to differentiate, to collaborate, and to sustain. As citizens of PETRONAS, we all have a role to play in this journey. We must rise to the challenge. We can contribute to the vision and mission of PETRONAS. We have to focus on the next 50 years, and what legacy we want to leave for the next generation. We have to be proud of our past, passionate about our present, and optimistic about our future. Happy birthday PETRONAS!

🎉🚀 Having spent my 15th year volunteering as a paramedic in the Cologne Carnival, I was thrilled to step into a new role this time: serving in the communication team (media relations and press contact, documentation & situation assessment) 🎭💼 While my usual role involves analyzing trends and driving innovation, today taught me that the dynamics and engagement I value in innovation management are present in various contexts. Working in an operational command center in emergency services shares many parallels with innovation management: it demands swift decision-making, effective communication, and adaptability to changing circumstances. Both domains rely on teamwork and clear objectives to successfully tackle challenges. Yet, the high level of engagement among members of the Cologne Carnival societies also left a profound impression. Their dedication to traditions and passion for their collective endeavor reflects the values crucial in innovative companies: unity, creativity, and a willingness to push boundaries. Today reaffirmed that innovation isn't confined to offices and labs but thrives wherever people come together to create something exceptional. 🌟💡 Tomorrow I will be happy to be back in the office - many thanks to ERGO Group AG that the Monday of the carnival period is traditionally a work free day. #Innovation #Teamwork #Carnival

Starting Equinox World Wide's first office location last year on the same day (1st March 2023) was a serendipitous occurrence. Persuaded by destiny, I found myself launched into my entrepreneurial journey right in the midst of my corporate career. Perched in a cubicle amidst the tranquil suburbs of India, I delved into online marketplaces, seeking out niche categories to assist budding brands. The sudden understanding of how a mere shift in content and the application of effective marketing strategies could profoundly influence a brand's customer experience left an indelible mark. Looking back on that serendipitous moment, it seems as though fate had a hand in it.   As we mark our first anniversary today, I am grateful for the numerous unique opportunities to meaningfully impact lives and livelihoods at scale, globally. From contributing to the early experiments (and some inevitable failures) in inventing the Marketplace AI Marketing Strategies, and shaping a few budding brands, to leading Equinox's international expansion into US and various emerging geographies – it has been an incredible journey. This experience has taught me the power of customer obsession, innovation on their behalf, and long-term thinking.
