How do we create safe spaces for Black women? “The real root of misogynoir is how people perceive and treat Black women and understand them to be worthy of respect and care. Changes have to happen at the structural level of our society, not just the individual behaviors.” - Moya Bailey How are you stepping into active allyship to partner with and support Black women? #Allyship #Inclusion #Diversity #Equity #SocialJustice #InclusionMatters #InclusiveLeadership

Women have historically been erased from the public narrative, but this is especially true for women at the intersections of multiple marginalized identities, such as poor women, queer women, and women of color. As we celebrate Women’s History Month, uplift the voices of these women who are at the forefront of advancing our collective liberation. Need tips on putting intersectionality into practice? Today, as we celebrate #InternationalWomensDay, we commemorate the long journey for economic equity that began with a momentous victory when H.R. 5050, the Women's Business Ownership Act, was signed. It’s hard to believe that just over 35 years ago, this groundbreaking legislation abolished the archaic requirement for women to have a male relative co-sign a business loan. That simple act changed how women conduct business in America and paved the way for female entrepreneurs to thrive. Now, 14 million strong, women-owned businesses account for nearly 40% of all businesses in the U.S., employ almost 12.2 million people, and generate annual revenue of more than $2.7 trillion. Let's continue to empower and support women in business as we strive for equality and inclusivity! Robert Simpson T.J. Lewis Kevin Deese Lynn B. For International Women's Week and as we lead up to International Women's Day on March 8th: Imagine a gender equal world. A world without bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. One that's diverse, equitable, inclusive and where difference is valued and celebrated. For me, striving for a gender-equal society is non-negotiable and there is still a lot of work to do regardless of how far we have come. In the words of Audre Lorde: I am not free until everyone is free!! This means that I'll continue to fight for Indigenous Women, Black Women, WOC and Trans women. These women face not only gender inequality but racism and violence due to race. They face more inequity, microaggressions, lack of care and support and denial of their existence (transphobia). Let's learn and listen, Make our feminism intersectional, Do inner work to see how we participate in oppressive systems, Call out misogyny in real life, Protect all BIPOC and Trans women, Hire BIPOC and Trans women. Collectively we can all #InspireInclusion.

Happy International Women's Day! On this day we remember all the Black women who gave their lives in the name of our struggles for freedom and equality. We acknowledge that our struggles continue, so we give thanks to all those that continue to advocate for freedom, rights and equity for Black women everywhere. International Women's Day 2024 is themed #inspiringinclusion. To be inclusive of Black women is to recognise that the narrative that defines us is is not our own. It is unjust, and is a major factor is the bedrock of the discrimination that perpetuates suffering, pain and anquish to us individually and collectively. That's why the Soul Purpose 360 campaign is so important. its time to redefine the narrative. Support #DefinitionRedefined #iwd2024 #iwd2024womenleadingtheway #InspringInclusion #blackwomenlead

March is Women's History Month! According to the National Women’s History Alliance, this month's theme is "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion." We would like to highlight Audre Lorde, a poet, warrior, feminist, mother, pioneer, lover, and survivor. Her poetry explored everything from racism, women's rights, lesbian relationships, and homophobia. Lorde called out the feminist movement for catering exclusively to white women. She argued that for feminism to be powerful, it needed to acknowledge the value of all women. Read more about Audre Lord and other women who advocated for equality here: https://lnkd.in/geKwPQwg

☀️Good morning! 8 March is International Women's Day. While we celebrate women and their accomplishments all year round, during 8 March we take the time to especially highlight and honour all the women who have made an impact and a difference. One way to do this today is by sharing Women breaking age stereotypes. Let’s join the conversation on AGEISM, one of the last socially acceptable prejudices. Let’s work together to change that! 💪 #ageism #inclusion #diversity #equity

When we say women, we mean ALL women. Black women provide a necessary perspective and valuable skills that every community needs. It's essential that all women are paid and recognized appropriately. Unfortunately, implicit racism still exists in the workplace. In order to close the racial AND gender pay gap, we must be intentional, not just tolerant. Where we're silent, movement stops. Take a second to think... ✨ What does my community look like? ✨ How can I welcome diverse perspectives? ✨ How can I encourage women of all backgrounds? ✨ How can I be intentionally inclusive on key projects? Share your strategies to elevate and encourage black women in the comments. 💭⬇️ #EqualPay #WomeninBusiness #BusinessWomen #EqualityCantWait Equality Can't Wait Pivotal Ventures The Female Quotient The Female Lead StitchCrew Voice First World LLC William & Lauren Custom Clothier Shannon L.
