Did you see what we did there? Working in IT can be stressful. A research team at Exeter University found that exposure to a fish tank can lead to noticeable reductions in blood pressure and heart rate, reducing stress and putting employees in better moods. What's not to like about that!? So we enlisted the help of Aqua Rentals who came and installed our gorgeous new tank. What do you think? Do you have office pets? #Aquarium #OfficeLife #ITSupport

The Red-tailed Black Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus banksii) is a striking and charismatic bird native to Australia. As one of the largest and most recognisable cockatoo species, it is known for its impressive size, distinctive plumage, and, as the name suggests, its prominent red tail feathers. This species is further divided into various subspecies, each with unique regional variations in appearance and habitat preferences. The Red-tailed Black Cockatoo is characterised by its glossy black plumage, which contrasts sharply with its vibrant red tail feathers. The adult males typically have a broader and more pronounced tail band than females. Their striking appearance makes them a favourite among birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts. These cockatoos are predominantly found in the eucalyptus forests and woodlands across Australia, displaying a preference for habitats with ample food sources, such as native seeds, fruits, and nuts. They are highly adaptable and can also inhabit coastal areas, grasslands, and urban environments. Red-tailed Black Cockatoos are known for their loud and distinctive calls, which serve various communication purposes, including mate attraction, warning signals, and flock coordination. Their intelligence and social behaviour contribute to their close-knit family groups and communal roosting habits. #redtailedblackcockatoo #cockatoo #australianbirds #australiawildlife #wildlifeconservation #art #illustration

We know some of our boater friends feel a cold coming on and are planning to call in ✨ sick ✨ tomorrow… 😇 If you are planning to participate in the popular #BoaterSkipDay, have fun, but please keep our #StJohnsRiver and its residents in mind and be a good example of a #RiverFriendlyBoater to those around you! 💧 Manatees: Go slow, especially near shore and in manatee zones. Wear polarized sunglasses 😎 and keep an eye out for swirls in the water, or their head or tail fluke surfacing. 💧 SAV: Look out for SAV enclosures like the one in this video (some are much larger) and if you see one, do not disturb it. These enclosures are meant to help restore Submerged Aquatic Vegetation (SAV) in our river, which provides biofiltration, habitat for bass and other fish, and much more. 💧 Trash: Bring a bag/container for your trash and keep it out of the water! Bonus points if you bring a trash grabber and remove anything you see floating by. 🚮 Repost this video and remind your fellow boaters to be #RiverFriendly. Cheers!

Did you take part in the Great Garden Birdwatch earlier this year? If so, you'll be interested to hear which birds topped the list as being the most frequently spotted in gardens across the UK during the month of March. The results are in! 1. House sparrow 2. Blue tit 3. Starling With an impressive total of 610,000 people counting 9.7 million birds to submit their observations to the RSPB, it's wonderful to know so many people are invested in this study and passionate about bird protection and observation in the UK. This is the largest garden wildlife study of its kind worldwide. It provides useful indicators and insights, not only into the bird population, but also into changes in bird habitats. As an example, despite coming in at number one on the list, numbers of house sparrows are actually in decline and these birds are on the UK Red List of conservation concern. This is largely due to a decline in green spaces and the impact this has on the insects that these birds feed on. One way you could actively support house sparrows is to allow an area of your garden or outside grounds to go wild in order to promote the kind of biodiversity that provides house sparrows with food. Alongside gardening for wildlife, the protection of rivers and the way we farm – often with a monocultural approach and the use of pesticides and fertilisers – should be key priorities to promote the health and resilience of our bird population. #greatgardenbirdwatch #birdwatching #learningfromnature #naturebasedlearning #sustainability #sustainabilityeducation

No matter what season it is, when renters are looking for a place to book, they'll consider what the outdoor space offers. Walking paths, a gazebo, a dog area (if you allow pets), and even a shared garden space to enjoy seasonally will be appreciated. #realestateinvesting #residentialpropertymanagement #rentalinvestment
