We cleaned up Blue Cypress Park, which sits right along the St. Johns River in Jax, with Oak & Orange Homeschool Group. These kiddos collected 12 bags of trash! Way to be stewards of our river. 👏

We did a presentation and cleanup with residents in the Trailmark community in St. Augustine, which sits adjacent to Six Mile Creek. Thank you for your interest in being stewards of our river! Do you know how your neighborhood connects to the St. Johns? Their watershed address is "Six Mile Creek > St. Johns River." Let us know yours in the comments! (Just see what waterway is closest to your house, and how it flows into the river.)

Last week, we had a #ResilientRibault strategic planning meeting with LISC Jacksonville and other community partners. Resilient Ribault is an initiative to address the challenges facing the waterways and communities in the #RibaultRiver and #MoncriefCreek watersheds. Both are tributaries of the #StJohnsRiver. While healthy waterways are critical to our quality of life, this is not the only factor that impacts the overall health and wellbeing of our communities. By working with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), community members, and other partners, we are using our collective resources, knowledge and expertise to address problems more holistically to create more resilient neighborhoods.
