The Bloomberg Billionaires Index reported that the top 10 wealthiest in the world gained nearly $64 billion, marking the largest daily increase since the index started in 2012, following Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 US presidential election. French luxury goods tycoon Bernard Arnault, the only billionaire to lose money, saw his fortune drop by nearly $3 billion, while Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, who is worth $202 billion, did not gain or lose any money between November 5 and 6, according to Bloomberg. Much of the gains for the top 10 on November 6 was reportedly driven by a rise in the US stock market, it noted, fueled by optimism that Trump will bring about a new phase of deregulation and favourable laws and policies for businesses. #trump #billionaires #bloomberg

🤯 "These 10 people could buy every NFL team, NBA team, and Premier League club... TWICE... and still have enough left to end world hunger!" Let's talk about the world's most exclusive club - where the entry fee is more zeros than my calculator can display! 💰 Fresh billionaire rankings just dropped, and wow, what a time to be a tech nerd! The top 10 could literally fund a small country's GDP for years (anyone want to buy Luxembourg? 😅) Break it down with me: • Elon: $279B (That's "billion" with a "b" for "batteries included" 🚗) • Larry E: $211B (Database money hits different!) • Bezos: $205B (Prime delivery of billions 📦) • Zuck: $198B (Making Meta money in his metaverse 🥽) Funny story: At my son's career day, I showed these numbers and a kid asked, "So they have all the money from their piggy banks?" I said, "Yes, but their piggy banks are actually banks!" 🐷 Here's the mind-bending part - 7 out of 10 are tech guys! Remember when our parents said "stop playing with computers"? Well, well, well... 😏 And poor Warren Buffett (only $143B 😅) is sitting there like the wise grandpa watching his tech-savvy grandkids show off their new gadgets! The real question: In an age where AI is reshaping everything, will this list look completely different in 5 years? Or will these same faces just have even more commas in their net worth? 🤔 Drop your predictions below! Bonus points if you can explain these numbers without using the word "billion" - I'll start: "Elon's worth approximately one million Tesla Model 3s!" 🚗 #BillionaireClub #TechWealth #GlobalEconomy #WealthInequality

✨ Hello internet world. Here are two trends I think are worth thinking about ✨ ~ Ghost metric social: Gen Z are predicted to shift off our current suite of social platforms to more privatised, splinter groups where you can't see any vanity metrics: no follower count, no engagement rates, no like numbers — all invisible. It will push people to only follow what they find really enjoy/feel inspired by/connected to. Brands who thrive in these new worlds will be the best storytellers, and have the coolest ways of expressing these, and be genuinely useful or interesting to people. ~ Green dollar economy: As the cost of living continues to bite down on almost everyone, people are innovating outside of cash exchanges. House swap apps like Kindred are on the rise, where people 'rent' their places for credits they can spend when they need accommodation out of town. Expect way more interesting, almost counter-capitalism initiatives to rise out of the next couple of years.

The term “creator economy” is a bit of a misnomer and infantilizes what we do, in similar ways to how the term “Influencer” belittles Creators. A better term for our portion of the Media & Entertainment industry is “Digital Media & Entertainment”. This semantic shift is important because it encapsulates much more of the various types of businesses, doesn't negatively segment us out of the industry we're radically disrupting, and creates a much better frame vis-á-vis Traditional Media (old & boring) vs. Digital Media (new & exciting). Goldman projects that our portion of the Media & Entertainment industry will be $500 billion by 2027, which will make us responsible for 15 - 20% of ALL Media & Entertainment. We are not part of the "creator economy". We are part of the Media & Entertainment industry. We make Digital Media. Don't accept a negative framing for what we're building.

💰 Who Are The Billionaires Shaping the World? The global billionaire landscape paints a fascinating picture of wealth distribution, sector dominance, and individual achievements. Among the world’s wealthiest: 💻 Technology reigns supreme with a combined wealth of $1.7B. This sector alone accounts for a staggering 64.2% of the total wealth in this elite group. Tech visionaries like Jeff Bezos ($233.1B), Mark Zuckerberg ($212.8B), and Larry Page ($158.1B) have shaped industries and amassed fortunes beyond imagination. 🛍️ Retail follows closely with a collective $608.9B, representing 23.7% of the list's total wealth. Key contributors include Bernard Arnault ($169.4B), whose luxury empire continues to thrive, and the Walton family ($324.9B combined), whose retail dominance with Walmart remains unchallenged. 💸 Meanwhile, Finance and Diversified sectors contribute the remaining 12.1%, led by Warren Buffett ($138B), Michael Bloomberg ($104.7B), and Carlos Slim ($76.1B). 🚀 Elon Musk's unparalleled dominance: With a jaw-dropping net worth of $416.1B, Musk alone contributes 16.2% of the total wealth among the top 20 billionaires. His fortune is nearly double that of Jeff Bezos, the second-richest on the list. Musk’s leadership in automotive (Tesla), space exploration (SpaceX), and technology has propelled him to a position of unmatched influence. 🌎 While the Retail sector boasts fewer individuals, their collective impact is monumental. The Walton family’s $324.9B combined wealth underscores their dominance, alongside Bernard Arnault’s continued success in the luxury market. These figures don’t just reflect financial success. They highlight the power of innovation, diversification, and market leadership. As sectors like technology continue to dominate, it’s fascinating to see how wealth shapes the world’s economy. ✨ Follow IncomeShares EU for more content like this. #IncomeShares #MarketingCommunication
