On #Epilepsy Day, we aim to address the prevalent misunderstandings surrounding epilepsy in our communities, which stem from low health literacy, leading to social stigma and discrimination. This lack of #epilepsyawareness also poses challenges in accessing proper treatment due to misdiagnosis and hampers resource allocation by policymakers. Join us as we celebrate individuals who have triumphed over adversity and encourage others to share their successes, breaking the silence surrounding epilepsy.
