As we get closer to the prestigious Woman of Stature Awards evening and the activities are gearing up, we want to highlight that they are entirely optional and have no influence on the awards results. They are designed to enhance the nominee experience, inspire and empower the nominee on their journey. Public choice award - this award is a category on its own and does not impact the overall result of the category and overall winner. The public choice award is in place to allow the public to choose their candidate and be part of the process, as well as to contribute to the Woman of Stature Awards. Woman Rise Fund Raising Initiative for Woman of Stature Foundation - this is in place so that nominees and finalists can play a role in curating the path for business women in crisis. It is a group initiative and again, does not impact the overall winner or category winner outcome but serves to position the role of a group focus on community initiatives. Nominee/Finalist led initiatives - these are ideas brought forward by current and past nominees or winners and are focused on enhancing knowledge and collaboration in order to add to the nominee experience. These are not compulsary and we do believe in enabling those who would like to add their offerings to the process. This does not impact the overall winner or category winner. Workshops / Dream Bigger Summit - this is in place to add value and opportunity for our nominees. They are not compulsory. They are created to enhance your experience, support and empower you. So what does impact the category winner and overall winner results? 1. Today was Founders Club1 meeting day. It was great to connect with my business colleagues for our monthly session. We discussed everything from day-to-day business operations to more strategic planning, all aimed at driving growth. Our conversations covered a range of topics including naming service offerings, outsourcing to enable growth, exit strategies and more. One key takeaway was the value of having an advisory board of inspiring, bright women to turn to for advice and knowledge sharing.
