We're seeing more of a focus on utilising tech experts to optimise automation & AI and getting the foundations right before investing in costly products that the consultants ignore! Since 2021 there have been over 600 RecTech companies launched. There are tools aimed at pretty much every stage of the recruitment process but as any Ops person will know, a tool is only as effective as the person who wields it. Huge budgets are being spent on building the most high-tech tech stacks, but often without a true strategy to engage and optimise the processes internally. As purse strings tightened and there was more focus on ROI, companies are looking to cut or optimise a more streamlined techstack.
