Dr. Roman Düssel, Department Manager, Reduction Area at TRIMET Aluminium SE, explains this process in detail. After dissolving aluminium oxide in the melt, liquid aluminium is then transported to a cast house where it is shaped into specific forms from slabs and billets to wires used for electrical cables. 🔌 The recycling rate of aluminium #madeinEurope is very high. In Germany, it even reaches up to 95%!
