CSRD could be a 'gamechanger' for preparing companies for IPO. Euronext's Camille Leca believes the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive can be used to bridge the gap in ESG reporting for privately held companies when they list. Some really interesting reflections on where private equity needs to improve with supporting the sustainability efforts of portfolio companies ahead of a IPO. Read more here! I'm so excited to share this! During my first-ever meeting with a Private Equity fund, they mentioned I should 100% check out ILPA, which is doing amazing work with LPs & GPs around DEI, Social KPIs, & ESG. Basically, they were like, these are the people you need to get on your side. And I think we did! 🙌 I first met the wonderful ESG team under Matthew D. Schey and then Erika Lehmer, who joined to lead the Diversity In Action Program under ILPA.
