What a day at the Euronext Annual Conference! 🚀 Throughout the conference, discussions focused on the urgent need to make the Savings and Investments Union a reality, against the backdrop of global geopolitical and economic uncertainties. Financial experts, government officials, and business leaders highlighted the necessity of channelling European savings into innovation, building integrated markets, and addressing the paradox of European savings—substantial in volume yet insufficiently invested in the equity of European companies. The day was opened by Eric Lombard, Minister of Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, and concluded with a speech by François Villeroy de Galhau, Governor of the Banque de France. The latter emphasised the importance of strengthening European financial market integration to better mobilise European savings for investment. Numerous experts contributed to the discussions, including Maria Luís Albuquerque (European Commissioner for Financial Services), Jean-Jacques Barbéris (Amundi AM), Marie-Anne Barbat-Layani (Autorité des Marchés Financiers), Lorenzo Bini Smaghi (Société Générale), Christophe Bories (French Treasury), Estelle Brachlianoff (Veolia), Laurent Capes (Crédit Agricole CIB), Anne-Christine Champion (Société Générale), Federico Cornelli (CONSOB), Alain Gallois (Natixis CIB), Hinda Gharbi (Bureau Veritas), Christel Heydemann (Orange), Davide Iacovoni (Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance), Sophie Javary (BNP Paribas), Mohamed Kallala (Natixis), Sébastien LACROIX (McKinsey & Company), Jean Lemierre (BNP Paribas), Nicholas Levy (Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP), Catherine Fiamma MacGregor (Engie), Patrick Pouyanné (TotalEnergies), Verena Ross (European Securities and Markets Authority), Dorothée Rouzet (French Treasury), Jean-Christophe Tellier (UCB), Luis Vaz Pinto (Société Générale), and Emmanuelle Wargon (Commission de Régulation de l’Énergie). 👏 Thank you to all our speakers, partners, and attendees for making the #EAC2025 a success!

  • Thank you, FIA, Inc. for an incredible #FIABoca50 conference in sunny Boca Raton! It was an absolute pleasure for our leaders Stephane Boujnah, Anthony Attia and Janina Marks to engage with clients, market partners, peers, and make new connections along the way. The 2025 edition held special significance as we celebrated 25 years of Euronext, while FIA Boca marked its 50th anniversary - a remarkable milestone for both. The conference was filled with exciting developments and insightful discussions. At #Euronext, we continue to drive innovation, launching fixed income #derivatives, now #clearing over 150 crypto #ETPs, expanding repo #clearing capabilities with Euronext Clearing, and strengthening our #commodities offering with the Euronext Nord Pool power futures market. Following the launch of our new strategic plan, #InnovateforGrowth2027, we are dedicated to driving progress for our clients, leveraging our presence across the entire market value chain to accelerate growth in Europe. Discussions throughout the event focused on the future of 24/7 #trading, the rise of tokenisation, and the evolving geopolitical landscape. One highlight was the outstanding “The Exchange Landscape: The View from the Top” panel, with Stephane Boujnah and other exchange leaders. The main message was the importance of EU-UK cooperation, not only in politics but also in financial services. A strong and united European financial ecosystem, alongside our UK partners, is more critical than ever. We can’t wait to see what next year holds and look forward to reconnecting in 2026!
