Watching 'MASH' at the moment - it's a shame that Hawkeye's view (profoundly anti-war) on armed conflict is not more widely shared in this day and age. From Vietnam and Korea to Ukraine and Gaza. Africa torn apart by military conflict also! Both America and Russia, age-old foes implicated in many of these conflicts. The irony is that there's no difference between State Capitalism ('Communism') and Rentier Capitalism ('Capitalism'). From wikiP 'A state-capitalist country is one where the government controls the economy and essentially acts as a single huge corporation, extracting surplus value from the workforce in order to invest it in further production. This designation applies regardless of the political aims of the state, even if the state is nominally socialist. Some scholars argue that the economy of the ///Soviet Union/// and of the Eastern Bloc countries modeled after it, including ///Maoist China///, were state-capitalist systems ... ...' 'Some scholars' are correct.

Congratulations to the Klamath People, Tribal leaders, and grassroots organizers who worked tirelessly for this victory. We hold your Nation and your homelands in our hearts. This announcement is proof that movements can and DO influence systems and policy. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) not only announced the return of Indigenous lands, but they did so with movement language that came from all of us. #LANDBACK is still our rallying cry, and the work and the wins are happening each day. To our dear relatives, when our movements are rooted in love for all that is sacred we are powerful. Don’t ever question your ability as Indigenous Peoples to influence policy makers and systems to protect the sacred. When we mobilize and lift up our demands, unapologetically, with strategy and coordination, we win! And those wins come in many forms. And let us not forget that this is the power of having an Indigenous matriarch, Auntie Deb Haaland, at the helm of the Department of Interior. In fact, there are many #LANDBACK Warriors working on the inside of the Department of Interior and the BIA, working within a system that has historically devastated our people and our Nations, yet today these Warriors bring vision and influence that has seeded massive change for Indigenous Peoples. This takes enormous grit. We’re calling this one a “win” on multiple levels– material, systemic, cultural, and spiritual– among other things. #LANDBACK #DefendDevelopDecolonize

Hello, my friends! It’s a joy to talk with you today. You know, I was thinking about how sometimes we feel like we're in a battle, trying to find that last parking spot at the grocery store. But the Scripture tells us our real battle is much bigger than that. Ephesians 6:12 says, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Let’s dive into what that means for us today. First: The Enemy is Invisible, but Our Victory is Visible. We may not see the forces we're up against, but we see the victories when we stand in faith. Recall that faith is the evidence of things not seen. Start your day by declaring victory over your life, your family, and your work. Speak life and watch God show up and show out. Second: Our Words are Weapons. Your life moves in the direction of your strongest thoughts, and your thoughts give rise to your words. Remember, the power of life and death is in the tongue. Choose to speak blessings and positivity. Your words are powerful tools against the enemy. Third: Unity Disarms the Enemy. Did you know a unified team is over 30% more productive than a divided one? That's the power of unity. Scripture says, "One shall chase a thousand, and two shall chase ten thousand." There’s real strength in numbers, especially in prayer. Our battle may not be against what we can see, but we're equipped with faith, words, and unity. These are the tools we need to win any spiritual battle. Remember, you’re not fighting for victory; you’re fighting from victory. The victory Jesus has already won! https://lnkd.in/gse2XZh5

Championship Principle #385 New Vitality, Warlike Energy Isaiah 40:31 (NIV) "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Psalm 18:32-34 (NIV) "It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze." Ephesians 6:10-11 (NIV) "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." Psalm 144:1 (NIV) "Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle." Psalm 103:5 (NIV) "Who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s." New vitality and warlike energy represent the divine empowerment and renewal that God provides to enable His people to face life's challenges and spiritual battles. Vitality refers to the rejuvenation of strength and spirit, a fresh infusion of energy that comes from God, allowing individuals to overcome fatigue and continue their journey with renewed purpose. Warlike energy, on the other hand, equips believers with the courage and strength needed for both literal and spiritual warfare, training them to stand firm and fight against opposition. Together, these qualities ensure that God's people are fully prepared for whatever challenges lie ahead, whether they are personal struggles or spiritual battles, with the confidence that God is their source of strength and victory. Championship Principle #375 Possessing Your Land of Promise and Fruition (Your Destiny) Deuteronomy 1:8 – "See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land the Lord swore he would give to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—and to their descendants after them." Joshua 1:3 – "I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses." Jeremiah 29:11 – "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Numbers 33:53 – "Take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess." Exodus 23:30 – "Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land." Possessing your land of promise and reaching fruition is about embracing God’s unique destiny for your life through faith, perseverance, and action. Like the Israelites entering the Promised Land, we must trust in God’s promises, understanding that He prepares us through seasons of growth and refining. Our journey requires patience, as God’s timing is perfect, and courage to step forward despite obstacles or doubts. God has already declared His plans for us—plans to prosper and not harm—but we must actively claim them by walking in alignment with His will. As we take possession of our destiny, it not only brings personal fulfillment but also glorifies God and blesses others, revealing His faithfulness and power.
