5 Reasons to Partner with Palmer Group (employment agency): **Yes, I'm totally biased, but I promise these are good reasons 😁** 1. Palmer Group offers health benefits, PTO, and the opportunity to contribute to our ESOP to all of our contractors! 2. Recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding is very time-consuming. But, we do it all day, every day! We're very involved in the Des Moines metro community and have a lot of connections. Save yourself a lot of time and effort by using our staffing services! 3. Make seasonal upticks EASY with contract/temporary employees. Forget the headaches of tax documents, background checks, Workers Comp, and administrative costs... we do ALL that for you! 4. Supplement your own candidate pool. Even companies with strong internal Talent Acquisition teams partner with Palmer Group to increase the quality of their candidate pool. Since we don't charge you anything unless you move forward with our candidate, there's little risk. 5. We'll be your advocate! Our recruiters build strong relationships with their candidates and know if the candidate will be a good match for your company's culture. We'll talk you up and send you the people that will exceed your expectations! Interested in learning more? Let's meet for coffee! ☕

Job seekers can find red flags with a little research and intuition. Talent executive James Hudson writes in Forbes that wild salary ranges and old job postings are two warning signs. He argues that if a company posts a broad salary range, it's indicative they may have a transparency problem. Job postings more than six months old suggest internal chaos or, at least, poor communication. Hudson says another red flag to watch for is recent WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act of 1988) notifications, which happen after layoffs. Last, how the hiring manager treats you in the interview also tells you what life at the company may be like. 👉 What are your red flags during the job search? Sales Performance Specialist | Helping SMB Sales Teams Achieve 8x ROI Through Proven Sales Training & Coaching Solutions
Imagine if employers were treated the way they often treat job applicants: You send your job post to 2,000 candidates, but instead of them reviewing your offer, they use software to run a keyword search. If you don’t have the right words, your listing won’t even be considered. Candidates won’t move forward in the process unless you clearly state the salary upfront—too low, and you're out. And instead of applicants revealing their work history, you’d need to disclose your employee turnover rates, culture index scores, benefits (complete with coverage details and costs), and explain why your two weeks of PTO is “generous”. Then, be prepared to be ghosted. In my experience working with employers recruiting for sales roles, I’ve seen enough to know which companies I’d never place a salesperson with because I wouldn’t want to risk my reputation. It’s time to raise the bar. Employers, I can help you improve your recruiting process. Let’s connect.

The cost of hiring the wrong person can be detrimental to your company. Did you know that hiring the wrong person can cost a company 3xs that person's annual salary? That means a candidate making $50k/year can cost a company $150k/year! In addition to the financial burden, companies that choose to staff in-house also take on the liability of workman's comp and unemployment. On-the-job injuries usually happen within the first 90 days, which can be very costly for a company. New employees who reach their 90 days usually stay long term, but unemployment hearings and attorneys can be very costly. At ERG Staffing Service, we have been in business for nearly 50 years and have highly trained staffing coordinators to ensure that the right person is placed right now. By choosing ERG Staffing, you can save thousands, even millions of dollars every year. Reach out to us to find out how we can help your company save big. meredithw@ergstaffing.com or 570-914-9800 with 7 locations throughout Northeast and Central PA we got your company covered with meeting your production needs.
