Here’s a shocking example. Why Uber is worth 25x more than Lyft… We already know tech tends to be winner take all in each category. Google in search, Meta in social, Spotify in music etc But ride sharing? Uber’s revenue is about 9 times Lyft, but we are just getting started Look at market caps… when Uber gets to amoritize their R&D and marketing across that larger rev base, they’re more profitable Uber $166 billion Lyft $6 billion With far more access to cash to invest and superior scale and economics, they grow faster, innovate, expand and you just get a runaway train Example - Uber Eats revenue alone is nearly 3x all of Lyft What are some other less intuitive winner take all sectors out there?

I love when an established brand like Uber still makes an effort to push out marketing and positioning that: 1. Catches my attention 2. Makes me go "Damn, that's good" 3. Reminds me I'm due to treat myself to a little delivery Taking off my consumer hat and putting on my #productmarketing one, here's why this ad works: 1. It's simple, yet catchy 2. It's displayed somewhere that my attention can be captured (the lobby by the elevator in my apartment building) 3.
