I was Democratic nominee for Emerald Coast Utilities Authority District 2 in 2022 in Escambia County, Fla where I won 5,796 votes and am gearing up for another campaign, probably for this office though I seek to raise the qualifying fee for Florida House of Representatives, a critical part of my platform is ensuring equal opportunity in hiring and post-bachelor's education opportunities for people with disabilities. My grandfather Joe Romagnano was National President of Paralyzed Veterans of America 1978-80. My mother's third cousin Dr. David Mathews, was HEW Secretary from 1975-77.
