Approaching One Year: Mavie’s Journey We’re getting close to Mavie’s one-year mark, and it’s been an interesting ride. Starting a recruitment firm has come with its fair share of challenges—navigating a tough market, adjusting to unexpected shifts, and plenty of late nights. But with each challenge, we’ve learned and grown stronger. As we approach this milestone, it’s a good time to reflect on how far we’ve come and prepare for what’s next. Where has the time gone?! Here are 🔟 things we’re celebrating for 10 years of mavis 🎊🤩🥂🍾 1️⃣ The strong relationship and friendship within our mavis family is fundamental to getting through the ups and downs of business and life 2️⃣ Using our team strength, positive energy and enthusiasm to collectively sustain our candidates and clients 3️⃣ Creating a more human connection with our audiences and clients, inspired by Mavis herself! 4️⃣ Supporting each other to develop and progress individually, as well as collectively to improve the mavis business offering 5️⃣ Establishing and sustaining our mavis brand name, values and ethos within the creative recruitment space over the last 10 years 6️⃣ Building integrity & trust, never cutting corners to try and achieve the best outcome for our community 7️⃣ Tenacity, never giving up, riding the waves, being agile and adapting to industry changes 8️⃣ Collaboration, becoming an extension of our clients business to help them grow 9️⃣ Support, listen, advise - being a sounding board to help match candidates to the right role to grow their career. Which industries do participants in the Career Connection program get to work at during a work experience? Any! We have partnered with manufacturers, IT companies, medical providers, nonprofit organizations, schools, and many more industries our participants have had an interest in. During their work experience they get to see what it is like within that field and speak with professionals on the skills needed to succeed.
