Prioritizing relationships with our colleagues and wider communities is just one of the things that makes us #TeamGBT. Curious about life in the Robinhood Customer Experience Pathways Program? We are currently hiring for our next CX Pathways class! Hear from Hoodies who went through the program and discover what it's like to join our mission-driven organization. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to obtain your FINRA licenses and kickstart your career journey! Jada Perry (She/Her), Customer Experience Representative, Core Services: I had a great experience with the CX Pathways program. I felt supported and knew the expectations required for getting licensed from day one. The program taught me a lot, helping me strengthen my time management, teamwork, and math skills. At Robinhood, I feel welcomed and cared for, have made great friends and received tons of support from everyone around me. My advice for those in the CX Pathways Program is to fully commit, ask for help when needed, and work with peers as study partners to encourage each other and achieve success together. Roy Ramirez (He/Him), Customer Experience Representative, Core Services Resolutions Desk: My journey through the CX Pathways program has been transformative. I got to immerse myself in the world of finance from day one and navigate the complexities of licensing exams with the structured study plan and mentor support. Beyond technical knowledge, it was the camaraderie and shared growth mindset that defined my experience, equipping me with essential skills like resilience, time management, critical thinking, problem-solving, and confidence. The supportive and collaborative culture at our company enhanced my learning journey, empowering me to push beyond limits and embrace challenges while continuously seeking growth and learning from setbacks. Drew Christ (He/Him), Customer Experience Representative, Core Services: The Pathways Program offered me a seamless transition into finance from a different career field, allowing me to utilize my professional skills effectively. Building a solid foundation of equities knowledge was vital for my confidence in the marketplace, and the program provided all the resources needed for this. At Robinhood, I have experienced a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and equity, where I feel supported and encouraged by colleagues to constantly improve and democratize finance for all. I used to believe that career growth was just a series of jobs and progressive titles all daisy-chained together in chronological order on a resume. Today I realize that my career is a personal journey guided by a higher purpose to engage in meaningful work. Once I figured that out a few years back, work became a passion and career growth took on a new meaning. In 2006, 4 of us started a FinTech company called Swift Capital. We were all connected by a common vision to disrupt small business lending and each of us brought a unique set of skills and expertise to the table. We were the best of the best in our fields, and it showed because we crushed it. As top talent began attracting top talent - we were later joined by more superstars that helped build a strong customer first culture that won several JD Power awards for service excellence. After a few setbacks due to 2008 banking crisis, we regrouped again in 2014 and scaled the business beyond our wildest dreams. In 2017 we were acquired by PayPal and my career journey landed me in an amazing role for the newly created SBU as the Head of Global Customer Experience. My career journey within PayPal continued to progress and in 2020 I was given the opportunity to help build and lead the new Customer Success Management organization for North America. It was an incredible challenge that tested me professionally, and when COVID hit and we all went remote, I was tested personally, down to my core beliefs. The one superpower that that I trusted and relied on in the past when my career journey kicked into high growth mode was my leadership style/prowess. But my old tried and true style and behaviors were not translating well in this new business environment, and I needed to quickly adapt. My journey took me down uncomfortable and sometimes painful pathways, but I recognized those feelings and stayed the course because I knew it was result of the change and growth happening deep inside. That was in 2020/21 and looking back it was one of the highlights of my entire career because the growth that occurred was so deep that it transformed me at a competency level. I figure that if I am capable of this type of adaptive transformation - I can change the world if given the right opportunity. Well, that opportunity is now because yesterday my role at PayPal came to an end as the organization continues its transformation. There were no tears because it was over, just a big smile because it happened. So today, guided by a stronger than ever higher purpose and energized by an indominable spirit, my journey continues as I search of a new opportunity for meaningful work. So, who wants to go out and create some Blue Ocean waters and disrupt something big? I'm ready.

2wThank you American Express Global Business Travel for sharing this video regarding the significance of teamwork and what it means to be a part of #teamGBT! I really loved just how much the video highlighted how teamwork is not just getting things done, but influencing one another to get things done even better when committed to creating a positive work environment. I resonated so much with how it described how your teammates can help motivate you and push you to work even harder. Sometimes, our minds tell us one thing on really tough days, but having supportive co-workers can really help shift our perspectives and get us back in the game. Again, It's inspiring to see the emphasis on building strong relationships within the team and the broader community. I'd love to hear your take on how you ensure these relationships continue to thrive in a remote or hybrid work environment?
