Learn more about how to #recycleoftenrecycleright to ensure your product has a second life and the recycle stream is clean. WM FYI, shredded paper should stay out of mixed recycle streams as it can't be sorted in the single stream process. There are ways to recycle this material by going directly to a fiber/paper recycler or by utilizing a secure shredding service like Shred-it or Iron Mountain.
While paper is usually recyclable, did you know that shredded paper is not? That's because it's too small to be properly sorted and recycled. So, be sure to keep your shredded paper out of the recycling bin. #RecycleRight

People have been asking me questions about recycling and I feel it probably makes sense to share this video created by WM. As much as we want, our present recycling technology and practices have their limitation. Print paper is recyclable, but it won't be anymore if you shred it. Similarly, if you use paper to replace plastic for candy bar wrap or meat packaging, it is neither recyclable. So please be sure to label these wastes right and more importantly, explore ways to avoid using these paper-based materials. #recycle #recycleright
