Cornish Metals Inc. (AIM:CUSN, TSX-V:CUSN, OTC:SBWFF) said the dewatering of the #SouthCrofty mine in #Cornwall has been steady since the operation got underway in early November. Around 25,000 cubic metres per day of water is being pumped to the water treatment plant (WTP) after which it is discharged into the #RedRiver, which has improved the river's quality overall. The discharge also powers a 75 kW hydro-turbine that generates up to 20% of the power consumed by the WTP. Water levels around the New Cook's Kitchen shaft are 155 metres below the surface currently and falling faster than expected though the rate of decline is expected to slow as pumping goes deeper. #CornishMetals said it still expects the dewatering to take 18 months from start to finish. Reverse Circulation drill results from the KR1 and KR2 prospects completed in July 2023 by Black Canyon Limited have been reviewed and validated for the maiden Mineral Resource estimate with 79 Mt @ 10.0% Mn (100% Indicated) at KR1 and 24 Mt @ 11.9% Mn (Inferred) at KR2. Combined the KR1 and KR2 deposits total 103Mt @ 10.4% Mn (73% Indicated and 27% Inferred) containing 10.7 Mt of Manganese. The combined Global Mineral Resources discovered by #BCA across the Balfour #Manganese Field including Flanagan Bore now totals 275 Mt @ 10.3% Mn classified as Measured (36%) Indicated (55%) and Inferred (9%). Black Canyon has discovered more manganese than is held by any other company in Western Australia with a massive inventory of 28.4 Mt of contained manganese. Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX:AAJ) managing director Glenn Grayson sits down with Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to discuss high-grade #copper assays from the Fiery Creek Copper Project in the Mt Isa copper belt, northwest Queensland. Surface rock chip sampling by previous explorers, including Sumitomo and Anglo American, revealed significant copper grades with highlights such as 36% copper (Sumitomo), 25.4%, 15.2% and 11.2% copper (Anglo American). The Fiery Creek Project encompasses prospects like Fiery Creek, Twilight, Hellfire and Piper and is underexplored but in a geologically favourable area analogous to known copper deposit regions within the Mount Isa Inlier. The project has seen limited historical drilling with anomalous copper results and extensive hematite alteration indicative of a fertile copper system. Extensive outcropping copper-zinc-silver mineralisation confirmed at our Copperhead Project in Gascoyne Region of Western Australia. High-grade copper and silver assays up to 21.7% Cu, 2.34% Zn, 0.75% Ni, 0.2% Co and 8.86 g/t Ag have been received from a geochemical reconnaissance program completed in November 2023 at the Henry East and Barlee South Prospects. Managing Director, Pedro Kastellorizos, commented: “We are delighted to have further high-grade copper-zinc-silver and results returned from the rock chip sampling reconnaissance program at our Henry East & Barlee South Prospect areas. Observations from the field have been confirmed by these excellent copper assay result and added to the impressive results up to 25.6% Copper at Illirie North Prospect, announced in November 2023. The mineralisation now extends over 5.5km in length from the 2023 geochemical sampling program.
