I will soon have been at Ericsson for 3 years and can't believe how quickly time has gone. However, they do say time flies when you're having fun! The last 3 years have taught me lots of things but here's a few of the BIG ones (because I've found them at Ericsson): 1) Companies who care about wellbeing and work-life balance DO exist. Flexible work arrangements and polices that promote a healthy balance between work and personal life. Not just buzzwords but in reality. 2) Strong leadership ISN'T about stamping feet and making demands. Good leaders set a clear vision and inspire their employees, whilst empowering them to do their best work. 3) A positive culture with a 'speak up' environment is CRITICAL. Mutual respect, trust and collaboration, where employees feel valued and supported should be a minimum requirement. 4) That your efforts and contributions MEAN something. That your work is contributing to something larger. A company's mission and values should resonate and give a sense of purpose. I've found some of these things at points in my career (I've also found employers where none of these things exist), but to have worked for a company for the last 3 years where all of these things are core values is amazing. If your employer doesn't deliver on these - remember - they should! 💪 #imaginepossible

How did we do this? 🤝 Focused on building strong relationships and trust 🗣 Strong communication 📜 5 Stage Talent Theory audit 💯 Proving we can deliver 🌍 Deploying German speakers rapidly ✈ Jumped on a plane & onboarded in person to kick start the project Proving through our 5 Stage Talent Theory (our end-to-end audit of their TA/HR function) that we can implement justified recommendations. 💡 We started with 1, we’re now at 3... where will we go next? 🌍
