It's brilliant to see the sustainability conversations gaining traction as part of the bigger picture adopting AM processes and components in a product lifecycle. #Sustainability and #Circularity were in focus at Business Finland seminar in Stockholm. Here's my brief summary of some interesting picks: – Climate change is the top challenge: How to result #positive climate impact – People buy content, not packaging (– but it has its role also) – Science Based Data makes difference – Recycling needs infrastructure, not only "idea" of #recyclability – "Ban" vs. "Innovation": 2030 tgts too low vs. 2040 tgts too high – Not one-to-all: Best practices depend the region & local possibilities – Working solution depends on consumer behaviour Thank you for your views among others Kai-Yee Thim, Marcus Morfeldt, Maja Kjellberg and Michael Hoffmann, as well presenting fellow companies Kamupak, Huhtamaki, Fredman Group, KraftPal, Wipak and Walki Group for sharing your expertise. I also shared that the new packaging regulation #CSRD and #Scope3 will have a big influence (90-95% added #CO2eq in calculations from year 2024) in industry's #ESG and #NFR reports. Do you already know our #sustainability campaign FIVE-DOT-MISSION? 💚 Our corporate ecological commitment is summed up by the MISSION: TOGETHER. RESPONSIBLE. As we also apply and comply with this mission in regard to our products, we have created a classification system. The five different categories in our FIVE-DOT-MISSION system indicate the factors with the greatest impact on sustainability. 💚 Our FIVE-DOT-MISSION makes an assessment of a product on the basis of the five categories and awards points per category, the product is then assigned to one of the five coloured DOTs. By this means we achieve a transparent, quick valuation logic which we can also use to gauge product innovation and improvement at 3A Composites. #fivedotmission #togetherresponsible #sustainability
