Cultural Economist helping leaders build a common ground of understanding and collaboration on race and economic equity

The next POTUS will be decided by a majority of White women. Media have ignored the impact of White women on elections for generations. Yet, White women represent the largest demographic voting bloc in America. And a majority of White women consistently vote polar opposite of the majority of Black women, who represent the largest voting bloc of nonwhite groups. The question we ask in our series of Common Ground Conversations is: Why do a majority of White women consistently vote polar opposite of the majority of Black women ... and all other nonwhite women? Made that same point heading into 2022 pointing out that while many factions berate Black voters for supposedly voting against their own interests, it is white women voters who vote Republican year-in and year out. This most rooted in a combination of the percieved upholding of white supremacy, the all to threatening spectre of unjailed and not yet sufficiently criminalized Black men and/or centuries long conditioning culturally of the places marked off for them.

It's imperative that we all ask this question. It's also brilliant that the White House put bodily autonomy on the ballot in many states which is a clear choice; bodily autonomy or a Project 2025 theocratic dictatorship? Given the facts you just laid out.... we can only pray they vote for themselves!
