Helping frazzled mothers in IT to break free from the hamster wheel and achieve an inspiring and balanced life | 1-to-1 Coaching | Mum

Working mothers can easily balance work and motherhood. Yes, absolutely - on social media. We often see examples of mothers who seem to have it all: they're beautiful, fit, energetic, successful leaders, fantastic mothers, and supporting wives. However, there is a tiny little problem, that these perfect mums don't exist. Because it's impossible to have it all by doing it all. The reality is that balancing work and motherhood is very challenging. Mothers are often expected to work as if they had no family life, while also being super mums as if they had no professional career. The good news is that it is possible to achieve a balance by organizing your life in a smart way: you can outsource or eliminate anything that is not essential, prioritise your tasks and learn to say no to anything that is not important. Contact me if you want to have it all, your way. #workingmums #Womenleaders #Womenintech #worklifebalance #workingmoms #professionalwomen

Dir. Marketing at Bobbie and Bobbie for Change | Boy Mom x2 Shaking the stigma on infant formula and working parents, one bottle at a time!

We don’t do print ads, but when we do, we write poems about sh*t. 🤪 But really, we don’t do print ads unless it’s with Mother Tongue. This twice a year publication is raw, bold, always beautifully written, and hand-made with such care for the craft of storytelling that you literally can’t put it down. The women behind it are true creatives and we love being part of their work, Melissa Goldstein and Natalia Rachlin. They allow us to be us - they even agree to print shitty (😉) poems. Mother | Chief Brand Officer at Bobbie | Shorty Awards 2024 Small Brand of the Year

😩 One in five women are ashamed to breastfeed in public in the U.S. 🍼 70% of moms combo feed formula and breastmilk. 🥹 67% of moms feel guilty for how they choose to feed their babies. So when we heard Molly Baz was starting her combo feeding journey, the Bobbie creative team sprang into action last week to create this photo and put it on billboard that is live in Times Square today. It's the first billboard in the advertising mecca of the world to show a breastfeeding mom. We're here to shake stigmas for women everywhere-- not matter how you choose to feed your baby. Thank you to the powerhouse women at Swehl for starting a cultural conversation on women's bodies in the media, feeding, and pregnancy-- it's one we are proud to continue. And I would like to add that if anyone has issues with this billboard please know that perhaps...you... are the problem we're hoping to solve for. #breastfeeding #bottlefeeding #combofeeding #Infantformula #womenled #femalefounded #

Last Spring, Molly Baz woke up to discover her Times Square billboard for Swehl had been taken down. Her pregnant belly and milk-filled breasts were deemed inappropriate... Then Seed Health entered the chat and put her back up in solidarity to help us normalize pregnant bodies. Today, Baz is back on that same controversial Times Square Billboard (shoutout to OUTFRONT Media)—this time as a new mom with her baby, her boobs, and a bottle of Bobbie 🍼 When we realized Molly was using Bobbie to combo feed her baby it was a no brainer to continue the conversation that our female founder friends have started: our bodies shouldn’t be policed and neither should our feeding choices. The choice to have Molly bare all was intentional. There is still work to do to help breastfeeding moms feel supported, especially when it comes to feeding in public. There is still work to do to help parents feel confident in their feeding choices—whatever that may be. There is still work to do to help formula feeding parents not feel second best. So let’s get to work 💪 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eB3ZdCbv

Our research on the prejudice faced by FemTech founders hit The Guardian today. We spoke to 35 founders about the discrimination faced when it comes to financial services such as bank accounts, insurance, ecommerce platforms and payment providers. Here's what we found: ➡ Imagine you're an at-home fertility kit that couldn't describe your product on Amazon using the word v*gina. Oh, but the word s*men is just fine. ➡ Or you're a sexual wellness brand charged 150 times the going rate for your insurance. ➡ Or you sell condoms and lubricants for women and you are refused bank accounts and payment providers - including once during an actual product launch! These are the real experiences of so many. 75 per cent of the brands we spoke to had been refused a bank account; 60% had an account closed, 50% faced “excessive scrutiny”, 32% experienced delays in processing and 21% were charged higher fees. The impact of these developments is significant: almost two-thirds had lost sizeable revenue, 54% faced increased operational costs, 43% reported customer dissatisfaction and the same percentage had to delay their launch. As our co-founder Clio Wood explained to The Guardian: “The amount of time and money femtech companies waste on trying to resolve these issues significantly sets them back and, in too many cases, destroys them altogether." Thank you Amelia Hill for your time on this important research and for writing the piece. And to Valentina Milanova 🇺🇦 at Daye, Tess Isabelle Cosad at Béa Fertility, Farah K. at HANX, Knude Society and many more for taking part. Here at censHERship our mission is to bring together a collective voice so that we can highlight these important issues and bring about change. We're just getting started! 📖 Read the full piece in The Guardian here: https://lnkd.in/e3QuQPQb 📖 Read the full results of our research here: https://lnkd.in/eqx3T6Nu

Coach | Founder of The Hidden Trimester | Speaker | ex Google | Fertility | Women's Health in the Workplace | Marketing Strategy & Insights | Career Coaching

After 8 amazing years at Google, across Sydney and London, it's time for a new challenge. The best thing about working at Google has without a doubt been the people - and I am leaving with many lifelong friends. Together we constantly pushed the boundaries of showing up innovatively for clients, presented at ground-breaking client events, published first-to-market research, interviewed industry experts on stage, and partnered with the largest advertisers in the world to help them grow - all while having so much fun along the way. Thank you to everyone who made showing up to work such a joy, and I'm so happy I'll get to keep you all in my life regardless! As my Google chapter comes to an end, I am pivoting to (and have absolutely loved) starting my own business, The Hidden Trimester, which supports women struggling with the emotional toll of their fertility journey - something which I am passionate about from personal experience. Currently offering private coaching, it will soon expand to also provide tailored consulting services to help businesses develop supportive policies for employees facing fertility challenges. And will also provide career coaching packages for new mums in the future. Far too often, women feel pressured to set aside their career aspirations due to societal or personal expectations around motherhood, and this is impacting their careers more than it should be. But right now, I am getting so much fulfilment from helping women in 'the hidden trimester'. For many women this is actually the longest and most challenging trimesters on the road to becoming a mum. And despite its significance in our lives, it remains largely hidden from those around us, making it the loneliest trimester too. The ultimate goal of coaching at The Hidden Trimester is to help women with the ongoing adversity and lack of control on this journey, as well as to help protect the most important relationships in their lives which are often heavily impacted as result. And while a key part of the program involves validating their feelings and providing important connection, it also focuses on empowering women with the tools to think about their journey differently, strengthen their mindset, sense of control and relationships, and to still thrive in all the other parts of their lives that are important to them, and which often take a backseat during this experience. There's nothing I love more than meeting someone new I can help in this area, so please reach out if you think you or someone in your life may benefit from a little extra support right now. Coaching programs available virtually and internationally.

Founder of MyOwn Image | Informing public understanding of Technology-Facilitated Gendered Violence & Image-Based Sexual Abuse | Creating a more equitable and inclusive digital landscape

I am proud to announce that MyOwn Image is leading a multi-state, bipartisan effort to introduce stronger protections against Nonconsensual Distribution of Intimate Images (NDII) in at least 6 states, during their 2025 legislative sessions. Our model policy strengthens penalties and offers critical support for victims of image-based sexual abuse (IBSA), covering both authentic images and digitally forged intimate images, aka “deepfakes.” Together, we are working to ensure women and girls nationwide are protected from these horrific crimes. CEO & Founder @ Arise Leadership. Follow me for practical posts on leadership, working mom life & my unfiltered journey. LinkedIn Learning instructor

I used to feel anxious about becoming a mom (How motherhood affects high-performing women) 3 years ago, I was all about my career. I was even "scared" of motherhood because I still wanted to perform at my old level while being a mom. I was scared I wouldn't be able to "stay the same". My friends and I would always talk about how having a child is going to impact our careers. What I didn't know at that time is... I was never supposed to stay the same. Because I gave birth to a new version of myself too. A woman who's never been more tested in her life. A mom who will now outdo all her previous versions. My work now isn't the same, but my ambitions remain. Before, I preferred to work until I finished for the day even if it meant working through dinner. Now I stop at 4:30 pm to spend time with my daughter and then come back online when she’s asleep. And making an 8 a.m. meeting is much harder. My work has a lot more unpredictability with sick days and school drop-offs. But I am more productive, strategic, and empathetic. So, if you're facing the same fear... Let me tell you this: You'll be able to hit your career aspirations, but it'll probably look different than what you envisioned. That's not a good thing or a bad thing. It's just different and you will figure out how to function. You'll find a new harmony in your life. But you'll be proud of your achievements. You'll be learning. You'll be adapting. You'll be struggling. And you'll be winning. Over and over again. So, don't worry, future mama. You got this! You're only about to discover how powerful you truly are. P.S. What's your number 1 advice for future moms?
