Cargon Neutral - How is this possible when holistically it is not given a thought. I am doing business with few tyre manufacturing companies. Now they insist us to put taurpaulin on the surface. I fail to understand why that thought or wastage is required. I have visited nothing less than 100 dealers and they do not put taurpaulin while storing tyres. Tyres are lying in dust all the time. If you see the puncture shops on roads, they never cover tyre, and who cares ultimately vehicles are running on road and tyres will be feeded with all the dirt on road right. 3PL companies in their warehouse do not give red carpet treatement to tyres, Even when deliverying to us (last mile) tyres are not covered in taurpaulin from floor and they just bang tyres down on road. We are dealing with various Tyre company Depo,storage of the materials are kept in a neat and clean condition some of the warehouse is also keeping racks special made to keep tyres ,as well as when a new tyre sold no one will ask the materials with cover with Dust,generally most of the transportation of tyre is done under closed body vechile where such demands will be not required

Amut Gupta ji , it is nice to see that you expressed your feelings here. Companies maje unrealistic demands from their service provider's just showcase their company having taken some steps at the cost of service provider's. If you ask fir additional cost they don't want to pay ut as well.

8moAs a part of 3pl / transportation - for JIT or to distributors / retailers these tyres go hand on hand without any process of wash / cleaning of tyres. For OEM they don't want their production line / storage area to be dirty. For distributors / retails they don't want their products with dust on it. So being the manufactures of tyres they insist on tarpaulin on the truck floor to avoid the dust frm truck floor. At the end customers are the god in any industry whether it is manufacturers / OEMs / distributors / retails.
