Such a large transformation program is only possible with the consistent and persistent efforts of all the people involved. The technology, tools, sound leadership and strongly governed methodology are the key requirements to drive and progress such a program, but ultimately it is all the #metsonites and #deloittees who dig deep, particularly through key milestones of the program, who ensure a successful delivery. I have a privileged position, so see how program teams work together and then join with colleagues in our local businesses; remain focussed on priorities and support each other through some substantial workloads. 💎 I feel proud and privileged to share an interesting read on Metso’s successful SAP S/4HANA transformation journey. The case story identifies several keys to success that are relevant before and during the implementation and are useful reflections for anyone planning for an S/4 initiative. For me personally by far the most important success factor is the shared ambition and ability of leaders, programme teams and stakeholders to perform as one team, tackling the inevitable challenges on the way and driving together towards the jointly defined goals.
