Amrop at CIODAY2023 Special - watch tomorrow! Amrop will take part again in this year's CIODAY, which will take place on November 21, as a Gold Partner with Job Voorhoeve, Global Digital Practice leader and Partner at Amrop the Netherlands. Prior to the event a CIODAY2023 Special was organized with the participation of the CIO of the Year Award Nominee Arno van den Berg the CTO at Vandebron, as well as other participants and event partners, including Job Voorhoeve. Three central themes were covered in this Special: Business Dynamics in which the participants operate, as well as the related role and impact of data, digital and technology; The New Role of the CIO and Leadership - the right mix of substantive competencies and leadership that the up-coming large-scale changes with technology and data as drivers require from leaders, and the ultimate digital leader profile. "We discussed what's required of a CIO/CTO in order to be a good leader - what leadership skills you need in order to implement change where change is needed in an organization," states Job Voorhoeve. "I shared my experience of working with clients on CIO/CTO searches. It's fairly common that there's a lack of experience and relevant knowledge in the top management when it comes to identifying the right qualities for a CIO/CTO role. I presented the digital competency model that our organization has developed - the action tool for selecting the right CIOs/CTOs. We also discussed the importance of having the right team around you as a digital leader, which is something that cannot be overlooked."
