This post is to share that I’ve completed a month-long internship under Advocate Manoj Moryani, a stalwart in taxation law. Throughout my internship, I studied various ongoing cases related to the Income Tax Act, 1961, and navigated notices and appeals under various sections of the Act. My focus extended to analyzing paper books on agricultural land taxation, understanding the complexities of the Income Tax Act and its jurisdiction, and drafting stay orders for ongoing cases. In addition, I did extensive research and contributed by submitting relevant case laws for various ongoing appeals. The practical exposure in studying paper books related to unexplained cash deposits and investigations by the Income Tax department further added depth to my learning. Overall my internship has enhanced my understanding of taxation law and equipped me with valuable skills.

Throwback to my roots in tax law! I'm proud to share my internship certificate from the State Tax Office, where I gained valuable hands-on experience during my LLB days. I'm excited to share that I've successfully completed a one-month internship with Legalyst Advocates, where I delved deep into taxation laws, focusing primarily on GST and its implications on e-commerce operators. Under the invaluable guidance of Sachin Mishra Sir, I had the opportunity to thoroughly research GST concepts, tax evasion cases, and contribute to various articles on these topics. This experience has significantly expanded my understanding of this technical field of law, which is often less explored. I've successfully completed my SIP in direct taxation from 28th May to 29th July , 2024, under the guidance of CA Rahul Jain at Rahul Jain and Associates. During my internship, I gained invaluable experience in ITR filing and client communication. I honed my skills in tax computation, understanding various ITR forms, and effective client interaction. I also developed a strong grasp of tax-saving provisions and compliance requirements. This experience has equipped me with a solid foundation in tax laws and practical knowledge to excel in the field. Excited to apply these learnings to my future endeavours in taxation

Warm Greetings, I am pleased to announce the successful completion of my internship with the AGISS Research Institute. During this period, I had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge in taxation and information technology law through comprehensive research and analysis. I authored articles on the following topics: 1. Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DDTAs): An in-depth analysis of their global context, the impact of the digital economy, and the implications of Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) on Indian taxation law. 2. Reassessment under the Income Tax Act, 1961: A detailed examination of the legal framework and key judicial interpretations. 3. Comprehensive Analysis of Income Tax Assessments: A review of the legal framework, ITR forms, and their applicability. 4. Revamping the Information Technology Act: A study of decriminalization and enhanced penalties within the Act. I am grateful to AGISS Research Institute for providing this valuable experience, which has greatly enhanced my understanding of these critical legal areas.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝: 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬! My niece, who has completed 3 years of CA, was offered an internship with a stipend of 15k. However, due to a government policy mandating a minimum intern salary of 5k, the company revised her offer to 5k. This change has raised concerns about the impact of government policies on businesses and individuals. Furthermore, there are worries about the increasing tax burden, with over 30 taxes currently in place.
