🚨We're very excited to have launched a community share offer on social investment platform Ethex in order to level up our impact and embed tax justice further in the UK and around the world. 🚨 Across the globe, 35% of multinational profits (£1trn) are artificially shifted to tax havens each year, robbing the public purse of funding for vital public services such as transport and healthcare. Some ten years ago we saw there was another way to do business. More than 250 distinct trading businesses are now Fair Tax Mark accredited, but 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡, 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞. Find out more about our plans and the community share offer at https://lnkd.in/etyEEwa5

Businesses seek our Fair Tax Mark accreditation – the gold standard of responsible tax conduct
About us
We're the Fair Tax Foundation, and we provide the Fair Tax Mark – the third-party, independent accreditation scheme setting the standard for responsible tax conduct worldwide. Taxes are not just financial contributions; they are vital for supporting communities and essential public services, and driving economic growth. Through our Fair Tax Mark accreditation scheme, businesses demonstrate their commitment to societal wellbeing beyond profit margins. Our rigorous accreditation process encompasses a diverse range of organisations, from listed PLCs to co-operatives, social enterprises, and large private businesses. Some 100 parent companies and 250 distinct trading businesses proudly bear the Fair Tax Mark, collectively employing over 275,000 individuals and contributing over $2bn in corporation tax annually. In 2021, we launched the Fair Tax Global Multinational Business Standard, extending accreditation opportunities to multinationals headquartered outside the UK, with certifications already in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden. Beyond accreditation, we lead initiatives such as Fair Tax Councils and Fair Tax Week, fostering dialogue and engagement around tax responsibility. Join us in championing a fairer, more transparent tax landscape. Enquire about the Fair Tax Mark today and be part of the movement at the leading edge of responsible tax conduct.

Getting into the nitty gritty of how ESG and tax functions at businesses can work closer together, where tax is impacting sustainability goals and vice versa, and what green policies will actually be effective, were all on the table today at Informa Connect's Tax Transformation Summit. Particularly enjoyed the question on the link between ESG and public Country-by-Country Reporting (pCbCR) - keep an eye out for our updated pCbCR resource coming soon⌛️ #esg #tax #sustainability #reporting SSE plc Anglo American
