Félicitations à NatureMetrics pour ce financement visant à développer vos solutions d’ADN environnemental (eDNA). Pour nous, l’eDNA a surtout permi de pouvoir réaliser des analyses dans certaines des parties les plus isolées du monde, là où les méthodes traditionnelles de collecte de données sont souvent dificiles. Cette approche a rendu possible la détection et la quantification d’espèces présentes de manière rapide, fiable et non invasive, même dans des environnements difficiles d’accès. En fait, nous avons eu le privilège de collaborer avec #benjaminBarca il y a quelques années, sur un projet au lac Mai-Ndombe, utilisant l’eDNA pour suivre les espèces aquatiques dans une région extrêmement reculée. Cette technologie permet de réaliser des analyses rapides, fiables et non invasives, une véritable avancée pour la conservation de la biodiversité.
