Hey everyone! Next couple of weeks, I’ll be diving into three key topics: Workshop for Sales Teams: How to make events truly work for your sales goals. Teamwork Matters: Moving beyond the typical sales vs. marketing clashes to build stronger collaboration. Becoming an Event Manager: Key insights I’ve gathered from mentoring future event leaders. Had an amazing breakfast with a friend and mentor— he’s an RVP that still personally produces because he enjoys helping the “right client.” We chatted about titles and how everyone has different perspectives about them. We chatted about ideal clients in both of our spaces. (We’re in different industries.) We chatted about the feeling of validation and the sense of accomplishment you get after closing a deal. It made me realize, that I too, enjoy the same thing. Winners like to know they’re winning. How do you know you’re winning? And even further— How does your team know they’re winning?

Founder & CEO of Be World Class Group | Author | Keynote speaker | Elite sport psychology consultant
The World Class Performance Conference 2025 is on the way! Our question... How can we achieve "the impossible"? It is inspired by the hundreds of conversations I've had with senior leaders who say... “The targets are getting higher.” “The challenges are getting tougher.” “We’re constantly being asked to achieve more, with less.” It is a trend that seems to be escalating! So, we thought we’d bring together a hand-picked selection of incredible people who have all conquered seemingly impossible challenges, to share their experience, insights and wisdom. How do we take on ‘impossible challenges’? How do we get our own mindset in shape? How do we engage our people? How do we enable them to overcome extreme challenges and set-backs? If you'd like to find out more about our amazing speakers, here's the link... https://lnkd.in/dhVA2W9d I know it's over a year away, but we've opened the doors for registration! We have a dozen 'early bird' tickets left. If you'd fancy joining us, drop me a line!! Have a great day!

It's not all work and no play! Every month we publish a trivia kit for busy team leaders/managers so they can quickly and easily run a trivia competition for their team 🎓 Team Leaders are always time poor, but who doesn't love a good trivia quiz? To help busy leaders with some fun team-building activities, we've done all the work for you! Simply print out or forward the question sheet to your team that has space for them to write their answers. Get all the answer sheets back and then score them with the supplied answer sheet that you must protect at all costs! 🔒 It's built in Microsoft Word so you can sub in out a few questions to localise it, and of course, you can decide if there are any prizes, rules etc. The June Trivia questions have just been published for members, and if you're not a member we've still got a sample quiz you can download for free! Good luck! 🏆 https://lnkd.in/gb6KGgkA #trivia #employeeengagement #fun #work

I help (inter)national nonprofit leaders turbo charge their ability to lead dramatic and useful change.
Ahmed Abdelhakim Hachelaf and I as collaborators in the space of virtual team leadership see the scourge of social sector org staff having (way) too many meetings, very regularly. When is the rest of the actual work being done? That would have to be after-hours then. Digital fatigue and demotivation are on the rise as a result, and resilience is on the decline. This was already becoming a problem before the pandemic, but now, it is more so. There is a way out. See the helpful visualization below ⬇️ which Ahmed Abdelhakim Hachelaf developed for our on-demand course on Virtual Team Leadership, to point you to some of the strategies in a shift from an emphasis on synchronous meetings to more asynchronous collaboration. We cover much more in the course! More info here: https://lnkd.in/ecGCExDp And see Ahmed's pointer on the FREE mini-course that's available as well. DM us if you are interested to find out if this is right for your org
Do you find yourself often managing through meetings? Do you feel some meetings are unnecessary? Do you at times communicate on sensitive issues via writing but figure out that it is prone to misinterpretation for lack of context and nonverbal cues? Here is a scheme Tosca and I developed by adapting some of the insights from Decker & Decker (2015): What Email, IM, and the Phone Are Each Good For. Tosca Bruno-van Vijfeijken is my co-coach in the course and a long-time collaborator. Learn this technique and more in our FREE mini-course '5 Steps to Turbo Charge your Virtual Team Leadership’. Enroll now: https://lnkd.in/ecf9V3JJ. Complete the FREE mini-course to get a referral discount offer of 15% for yourself and your friends - which you can apply towards future full courses if your organization decides to buy our on-demand course. Tomorrow is the day! ✨ I’ve invited Kelly Lewis, VP of Revenue Enablement at Highspot, and Frank Pinder, President at RevShoppe, to a roundtable discussion about why an "always-on" approach to coaching is a MUST in 2024! 81% of sales managers identify rep skill gaps using lagging indicators like win rates, anecdotes, and talk trends - which truly isn't enough. Join us to talk about how you can switch from this reactionary approach to coaching and actually see a positive change in your win rates, rep happiness, and more. Let's go! Link in comments. 😎
