In a time when so many LI posts are bragging about end-of-trial outcomes, 1 month success or 3 month results, it's always good to remember that none of that matters. At all. In #neuromodulation, the metric that matters above all else to me is long-term outcomes. And for nonsurgical CLBP, only one therapy has Level 1 prospective data demonstrating progressive improvement and durable benefit at 5 years. And even more importantly, the data is reproducible. Try it for yourself and find out. 5-year outcomes: the new #goldstandard for neuromodulation evidence. #transparency - I'm a paid consultant to Mainstay Medical.
Dive into the highlights of our unforgettable time at the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) Annual Meeting! Witness groundbreaking presentations, engaging discussions on multifidus dysfunction, and an exclusive look into the remarkable 5-year patient outcomes of ReActiv8. Don't miss the excitement, and stay tuned for the extraordinary developments in our 5-year groundbreaking publication! #mainstaymedical #reactiv8 #multifidusdysfunction #chroniclowbackpain #restorativetherapy #thinkrestorative #restorativerevolution #lowbackpain #clbp #helpingpatients #patientfocus #puttingpatientsfirst Christopher Gilligan, M.D. | Damian Salgado | Sarah Schariest, MBA | Dr. Ardeshir Ardeshiri | Robert Heros, MD | David W. Blindness is a common side effect of stroke and visual training has been used in an attempt to restore vision in cortically blind stroke patients for nearly two decades. According to a study supported in part by the UR CTSI, visual training can almost completely restore a person's ability to discriminate stimuli orientation and motion direction but only partially restores contrast sensitivity—the ability to perceive sharp edges on objects. The #URochesterResearch authors suggest that earlier training may improve contrast sensitivity outcomes for cortically blind patients.
