Give credit where credit is due. This means to acknowledge and praise someone for their achievements or contributions when they deserve it. Here we can see Lucho Diaz giving credit to James by recognizing his contributions to the Colombian national team during their performance in Copa América by placing an imaginary crown on his head. A simple but powerful act. Here's a fun team challenge for this week — ask your team members to give credit where it is due and acknowledge the contributions of other team members. Recognizing and celebrating our coworkers' contributions is a cornerstone of business culture. When we acknowledge each other's hard work and successes, we foster an environment of mutual respect and motivation. #Teamwork #Recognition #CompanyCulture

'We have got players who abdicate responsibility.' Former Scotland Prop Peter Wright publicly criticised the national team this weekend after their shock loss to Italy. In any team sport, there is a collective outcome... Winning or losing a match is the culmination of individual performances. However, all the individual performances are deeply interconnected. This is where ownership comes in. Each player has to take responsibility for their link in the team's symbolic chain. One weak link in the chain can see a team's performance dip dramatically. When each player takes full ownership of their role, it strengthens the team's cohesion and amplifies everyone's efforts. This ownership means being physically and mentally prepared, understanding your duties within the team's strategy, and executing them to the best of your ability. Taking responsibility also means being accountable for your actions during the game. It's about making conscious decisions that benefit the team, admitting to and learning from mistakes, and celebrating successes as a shared achievement. This level of accountability fosters a culture of trust among teammates. Knowing that every team member is fully invested in their role builds confidence in each other's abilities and strengthens the collective resolve to succeed. #sixnations #teamwork #teamdynamics

The club will always be more important than the team… Hear me out. Let me give you some examples: - Ryan Reynolds & Wrexham - Gareth Southgate & England They have one key thing in common. Their commitment to a CLUB mentality. They’re just two examples of when managers not only made a team but transformed a CLUB. How? Because they identified the following: 1) That the club has longevity compared to a team 2) Opportunities to build a fundamental foundation The fact is, they made the entirety of the badge a priority, not just the first team. That’s how you create a great club, and the best team(s).

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗼... 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺! 🏆 Vegas Legends has won the 𝗦𝗕𝗖 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 for 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗼! But let’s be clear – this award doesn’t belong to the company; it belongs to the incredible team behind it. 🎉 In business, nothing is more important than your team, and this win is a testament to that. So, what’s the secret to winning an award like this? It’s all about the people you work with. Here are a few things I’ve learned along the way: 🔑 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗼𝗻𝗲. Size doesn’t always equal success. Efficiency does. 💡 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸. Give them the freedom to innovate, and they’ll surprise you every time. 💪 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺. Empowerment is the key to ownership and accountability. 🤔 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. (Just kidding... but seriously, sometimes it’s okay to let them figure it out. 😉) Together with my Co-Founder Cedomir Tomic, we couldn’t be prouder of the team we have. They are the true legends behind this recognition. Nikoleta Hristova, Victor Dessov, Kristina Koledova, Nia Seliktar, this award is yours – now go fly! 🚀🚀🚀

It’s both an honor and a privilege to be joining the Oleria team! In a cybersecurity market that’s saturated with fear-mongering, wall-building, padlocked everything jargon, I was delightfully surprised by Oleria’s approach with "security that sets your business free" and that’s because companies shouldn’t have to choose between security and business agility. Every team needs space to collaborate and innovate at the speed of business. Learn more at Oleria.com #CyberSecurity #IdentitySecurity #CISO #CIO

How the New Zealand All Blacks inspired our company Culture Book 🏉 Don’t worry, Kainos hasn’t introduced the haka at the start of team meetings! This is about how the New Zealand rugby team influenced our recently released company culture book… The All Blacks have long been synonymous with excellence, teamwork, and a culture of continuous improvement. However, their legacy extends far beyond the rugby pitch, inspiring so many people and organisations across the globe. Kainos is no exception. In fact, when we recently launched our company Culture Book, we took inspiration from a key part of the All Blacks’ culture to help tell our story; the little black book. When a player makes the All Blacks, they’re given a small black book, bound in leather. The first few pages are about the club’s legacy, history and what they have achieved over the years. The next section outlines the principles, values, standards and the character of the team. The rest of the pages are blank, waiting to be filled. Each player is encouraged to capture their experiences while playing at the club. This is designed to inspire themselves and others who will follow in their footsteps. We absolutely loved this concept and saw it as a great way to keep our own story alive. So, we decided to implement this in own Culture Book. 📕 Read The Kainos Culture Book: https://lnkd.in/efZ4h6_3 Our Culture Book brings together our history, mission, values and aspirations into one space, providing a foundation for our people to work from. It’s written by our people for everyone who has an interest in who we are and why we do what we do. Best of all, the back pages are blank and we intend to keep our story alive by inviting anyone who works for us, with us or alongside us to add to these. Lots of people in my network will have some great stories, memories or anecdotes about Kainos to share, so if you’d like to make your mark in the Kainos story, please comment below or follow this link: https://lnkd.in/ek4Th-H7 For everyone else, I hope you enjoy reading our story and our commitment to creating a positive and inspiring place to work.

We tried this 'taco talk' thing at work—giving out tacos for every little thing. But, when everyone gets a taco for just showing up, it loses meaning. It's like the participation trophy of the workplace. Recognition should be meaningful, not just handed out. Celebrate REAL achievements. #motivationalvideos #success #business #tacos #team #personaldevelopment #inspirationalvideos
