Director/Consultant @ Trace Structural Investigations | Holistic Approach to Structural Analysis

Sometimes you need all the kit! We are often called in to jobs with no information about what the construction is, other than there is some #concrete. The client needs to know a lot about the slab though. The solution can be to take a collection of equipment to cover all eventualities. It can be more costly but the value at the end is worth it. Plus the different systems let us determine different information about whats going on. The planning of projects needs to take into account what you know and what could be there. Then bring in the clients requirements, This all needs the experience of the inspection team. Luckily the client came to Trace Structural Investigations who know what to do and use. On this site we had an Elop Technology Ultrasonic array, Geophysical Survey Systems, Inc. (GSSI) SIR-4000 with a DF and 2.6GHz (in the cart) antennas, Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon TS16 total station and a RTK GNSS. And yes, it was all used, and all added value.
