Distorted Thinking and Prediction Errors I have had many conversations with my colleague Peter Vermeulen about #stress, #trauma, and what could be described as #autistic thinking. The ideas that Peter promotes apply well beyond the field of autism. How many times have we misunderstood a situation, or experienced the stress of our own catastrophic thoughts? This event is designed as an all-day seminar where practitioners, people with lived experience, and families can come together to really think about the chaos experienced by the people we support. If we can help people to navigate some of that chaos, that will ultimately lead to improving people's #wellbeing and #mentalhealth.
