Guinea is home to the world's largest bauxite reserves, an ingredient processed into alumina which is used in return to make aluminum. She also has Simandou project, believed to contain over two billion tonnes of iron ore making it one of the biggest untapped iron ore reserves globally. Despite all these proved reserves endowed to her, she suffers harsh energy crisis. The country has been shedding power since December 2023. This alludes to the fact that there is low water levels which is affecting hydropower dams and a recent fire outbreak at one of the fuel depot in the capital Conakry has as well affected thermal power plants breakdown according to the sate owned utility service provider. Koryx Copper (TSX-V:KRY, OTCQB:KRYXF) President and CEO Pierre Léveillé joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with an overview of the company's projects and the dynamics affecting the #copper market. The company, formerly Deep South Resources, is focused on the Haib Copper project in Namibia, which boasts a significant deposit with over 1 billion tonnes of ore at 0.31% copper. It aims to increase this grade through ongoing drilling. Additionally, Koryx holds options on three licenses in Zambia's copper belt, though these are at a more exploratory, greenfield stage compared to Namibia. Léveillé explained the recent amendment to the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the Haib project, clarifying that technical and economic aspects remain unchanged. Continuation of work in Kalahari desert, South Africa. The first tectonic groundwater well has been successfully completed at a depth of 150m, with a capacity of ~200m3 per day. I have added a video of the first water well in the comments. Now, onto the second tectonic groundwater well, located 3km away from the first well discovery. The well's depth is 204m, and it boasts a capacity of ~588m3 per day! Moreover, before contacting us, the customer had previously drilled 25 boreholes, resulting in the following outcomes: - 15 boreholes have dried out. - 2 brackish / saltwater. - 8 water wells provide only a few dozen cubic meters, falling short of the customer's needs. In our endeavors in this desert area, we report a 100% success rate – 2 out of 2 boreholes have yielded drinking-quality groundwater.

Tolu Minerals Ltd (ASX:TOK) managing director and CEO Iain Macpherson joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the results from a recently completed Phase 1 Airborne Mobile Magneto Telluric (MT) survey over the Tolukuma area in Papua New Guinea. The survey identified significant copper-gold porphyry and epithermal #gold targets with the results supporting the company's exploration and development strategy, potentially accelerating the expansion of the Tolukuma mine. Preliminary findings indicate a conductivity anomaly extending over two kilometres beyond Tolukuma’s southern boundary. Additionally, advanced targets such as Belavista, Idave and Karame have been identified, with historical samples from Belavista showing high concentrations of #gold, #silver, #copper and #zinc. The porphyry system beneath Tolukuma, referred to as the ‘Tolukuma Porphyry,’ is believed to drive the region's gold mineralisation.
